EXTENDED SUMMARY
Roslin Gray had been around for a long time. She, herself, wasn't sure when she was born, or where specifically. She and her brother had been around for a long, long time, so long that she was quite tired of living. After a while, after everything had been done and everything had been said, Roslin grew bored of a life with no meaning. She spent her nights partying with her best friend, Magnus Bane, and her days running a small book store in Brooklyn.
Jace Wayland (or Morgenstern or Herondale) was good at what he did. He didn't always follow orders, but he was one of the best Shadowhunters around. He was cocky and fickle, young and naive. Jace had little concept of foresight, and tended to jump into most situations (that always had very real consequences). But at the end of the day, Jace was one of the finest Shadowhunters around.
Roslin and Jace couldn't be more different, yet when they meet through Magnus Bane and Clary Fray, fate has a funny way of bringing two very different people together.
