Never Leave Me

Chapter 1

Nikkis POV
   Shit i'm running late for school! I look at my clock in a panic and get up and slip some jeans and a t-shirt with a flannel around her waist and converse high tops. I brush my teeth and throw my hair up into a ponytail at the same time. Once I get done putting my hair up I finish up getting ready by putting on crappy makeup because my lazy ass self was running late. I get finished getting ready and run downstairs and grab my backpack and head out the door.
   I'm sprinting to school as I accidentally bump into a random guy "Oops sorry!" I keep running and don't even give him a chance to say something back.
  I finally arrive at school and I run in and get to first block, biology. The one class I dread everyday, as I quietly open the door trying to seem like i've been there that whole time, my clumsy self  tripped over someone's backpack. "W-Woah...." as I feel like my teacher was staring at me I slowly look up and the teacher is standing in front of me. "Oh um, hi Mrs. Goldsby..." okay look, i'm scared of my biology teacher so I try to keep calm in front of her. The teacher snaps at me and says, "What are you doing late to my class?" I gulp and spit out some words and say "M-My alarm didn't go off..."  The teacher looked at me like I was some piece of trash, "I will speak to you today after class today Ms Swan..." Mrs. Goldsby says. "Yes ma'am" I say full of fear, I sit down in my seat where I normally sit of course by this weird guy that never talks to me.
  The teacher goes on and on about all this boring biology stuff that I don't even listen to.
  ~~After 1st Block~~
  I pack up my things and like Mrs. Goldsby told me to, I walked to her desk because she had told me she wanted me to talk to her after class. Which i'm very scared about this conversation she's about to start. "Ah Ms. Swan, I see you remembered to see me after class?" I gulped and responded "Yes ma'am.."  I've never been so damn nervous to talk to a teacher before "So, today you were late to my class, and I will not accept students late to my class, because they are missing out on their education and then the parents come complaining to me saying they don't learn anything in this class I have to tell them certain excuses so I won't get fired, and what I want you to understand is, if you are late to my class again, then you will be sent to ISS, understood?" I'm now gonna make sure i'm never late to any other class again "Understood Mrs. Goldsby." I stutter out "Good, now get to second period." I nod.
  I let out a big breath and walk to algebra class. As i'm walking to class this guy out of nowhere accidentally bumps into me while he's running to class "Oops sorry dude.." I look at him while he said that and I say back "You're good."  Ugh I feel like today is not gonna be the best.
  I walk into algebra and I find this guy sitting beside where I sit "Oh um did I move a seat?"  he looks up at me and he has the most prettiest eyes ever it's like I could get lost in them. "Oh uh no she moved me here." He had a deep almost sexy voice. "Oh ok" I sit in my seat beside him and take out the things I need.
  "My name's Levi." I look at him and smile "Oh um nice to meet you levi, i'm Nikki." We both shake hands and for a moment me and him look at each other , direct eye contact. We finally snap out of it once the teacher gets on with the lesson. "Ew what's that smell? Smells like it's coming from where Nikki is." says one of the most popular kids here, Amber Bailey. Levi looks at them with disgust "Just shut up Amber she doesn't stink maybe it's you that stinks."  Everyone let's out an "oooo dang"
  I feel like i'm special because no one has ever stuck up for me like that. "Hey Levi, um, thanks for sticking up for me." I smile at him. "It's no problem, Amber's a bitch anyways" I chuckle at his statement. He just smiles at me. He has the perfect teeth ever.
  ~~After 2nd Block~~
  Me and Levi pack up our things and walk to third block together cause it seemed we both had ELA together.  "Hey Levi, is it weird i've never seen you around here?" well that was a really dumbass question. "No actually, i've never seen you around here either."  We continue our convo and we walk into ELA and go on with the class.
  I feel a paper wad hit the back of my neck. I pick up the paper and un crumple it and it says a phrase I thought I would never have thrown at me. It said "Nikki Swan is a slut who goes around sleeping with guys for money." I look back at the bitch herself, Amber and she laughs at me. I try not to cry but a tear runs down my cheek. I wipe it away and continue listening to the teacher.
