The day you asked me to marry was the start of the nightmare. And the day I said yes was when I decided to live it.

Clipped wings, I can no longer soar the skies, breathing the fresh sweet scent of flowers blooming beautifully over the meadows.

No longer can I feel the wind caress my face as I run, seeing how far will I go.

No longer can I taste the sweet dream I can only have when my love is by my side.

No longer can I escape reality. Not when the shackles of duties and responsibilities are weighing me down.

You gaze at me with such adoring eyes filled with love. Too much love that it's drowning me.

You shower me with your affections, caring gesture that pulled me down, settling me by your side.

You whisper sweet nothings in my ears. Your words charging me guilty of the sin I've commited.

And now, here we are, on the most romantic place, a beach, standing before each other.

The waves clapping on the shore playing a beautiful rhythm along with wind rustling the leaves of the palm trees.

The setting sun of the horizon stands as our witness. We said our vows and made promise that in this one-sided love of yours, I'll obediently follow you.

Sliding the ring on my finger, I am now chained, bearing your last name for the rest of my life.

Answering I do, I embraced the curse I casted upon myself.

We engraved our mark on the sand.

Sealing this contract arranged solely for the benefits two families bound to recieve, I hope you can taste the poison in my mouth.

Ironic it was when you brought me yellow roses filled with thorns on our first meeting. Yet sending me a single thornless red rose the next day.

I wonder what made you change your mind. Was it my face? Many have said that my voice is alluring, was it because of it? Maybe it was my smile which is rumored to be a heartstopper.

Or was it those love marks littered across my neck and shoulders? Perharps you were captivated by the idea of painting your own art on this blank canvas of mine.

I doubted since you were sweet and innocent. But now I am convinced because in this moment of our wedding night, you are admiring the masterpiece you had just created.
