sang-hyeok seemed like a genuinely nice (and charming) person once you got to know him.

he had an attractive smile, the type that balances well between hot and straight up cocky. the type that makes you daydream and stare into space, imagining how nice it would feel if that smile was directed at you. the type that gives you butterflies in your stomach.

or at least, that's what wang-ho thought.

the young pizza delivery boy couldn't help but stare at sang-hyeok every time sun-gu said something funny in hopes of seeing the older boy smile, or even better, laugh.

it was almost mesmerizing to watch sang-hyeok's expressions and the little quirks that he had, like how he would give a lopsided smirk whenever he was teasing anyone, or how he would absentmindedly bite his lips when he was thinking.

wang-ho wondered what had gotten into him. he had never felt so damn attracted to someone before, especially someone he just met a few moments ago.

he felt heat rise to cheeks as he continued eyeing sang-hyeok, who seemed quite oblivious to the attention wang-ho was giving him.

sun-gu, however, was more observant than he looked.

once they were done with small talk and pizza, sang-hyeok excused himself so that he could go shower and change. sun-gu quickly jumped at the chance to tease wang-ho, after how wang-ho had teased him about his "fear" for sang-hyeok earlier.

"wang-ho yah, you're not gonna go shower with hyung?" sun-gu wiggled his eyebrows suggestively at the pizza delivery boy, who was already flushed red at his statement.

wang-ho, flustered, immediately attempted to calm himself down. okay. chill. pretend you're innocent. "what's making you say that?" he glared at sun-gu, but in reality he looked more like a feisty puppy. not intimidating at all.

sun-gu rolled his eyes. "you were checking sang-hyeok hyung out the whole time, you dummy," sun-gu poked a tongue at wang-ho, "be thankful that he's denser than a rock, or else he would've kicked you out for being such a creep!"

wang-ho huffed childishly, folding his arms in defiance. "it's not wrong to check him out, okay," he protested, "i'm sure, everyone else does too."

sun-gu sighed, causing wang-ho to worry. "yes," sun-gu grudgingly admitted, his protective side slowly showing. wang-ho wanted to come up with a smart ass remark but stopped short when sun-gu's expression darkened.

"everyone checks sang-hyeok hyung out. he's just too much of an idiot to realize. that, and he's not interested in love, so don't even try. he rejects people really harshly, just saying," sun-gu deadpanned, shrugging.

for a some reason wang-ho didn't know, he felt a pang at his chest when sun-gu said that. no, what's going on? he wasn't supposed to get hurt! so what if sang-hyeok doesn't give two damns about love? it's not like wang-ho wanted to get together with him or anything.

he just thought sang-hyeok was attractive. that's it!

"i don't care. it's not like i want to date him or anything. he's just pretty attractive, that's all," wang-ho pretended to casually shrug things off, ignoring the growing sour feeling in his chest.

man... this was confusing.

"okay, okay," sun-gu raised both his hands in defeat, "i'm sorry if you're mad, but i'm just telling you so that you don't get your hopes high up or anything. just looking out for a friend... alright?"

wang-ho hesitated, but seeing that sun-gu was slowly dropping his defensive mode, he decided to slowly nod at sun-gu's statement. "sorry, i may have gotten too defensive as well," he admitted, rubbing the back of his head.
