Chapter 7

"Where are you taking me Baekhyun?" Chanyeol asked in confusion as the happy puppy dragged him to a nearby bus stop.

"You'll know when we get there," he replied, "Oh! The bus is coming!" He pointed to an on coming bus which stopped a few feet away from the two boys. Baekhyun, still holding on to Chanyeol's arm, ran into the bus as soon as the doors opened. They both took a seat and sighed in exhaustion as they practically ran from school. People stared in concern at Chanyeol's bruised face as they walked down the aisle to take their seats.

"Baekhyun. Seriously, where are we going?" Chanyeol tried again. He was desperate to pry an answer out of him, but it looked like it was no use. His boyfriend just smiled and turned his head to look out of the foggy window, hair shining like freshly polished metal as it hit the sun rays. Chanyeol grinned and rolled his eyes, resting his elbow on the arm rest and leaning his chin on his hand.

The road seemed familiar to Chanyeol. He was sure that he drove this way one day. But... The place name just escaped him for some reason. The trees and buildings, everything seemed so familiar.

"We're almost there," Baekhyun muttered into Chanyeol's chest. His head was currently resting on his boyfriends chest and shoulder, eyes closed and breath peaceful.

The bus took a sudden halt. Baekhyun's eyes fluttered open and he lifted his head off of Chanyeol's shoulder. A bright smile appeared on his face when he looked out of the window to their new destination.

"Baekhyun- I..." Chanyeol muttered, trying to form a sentence as he realised where they were. His eyes were wide and he looked from their destination back to Baekhyun, over and over again.

"We had our first date here, remember?" Baekhyun's grin widened even more as he saw his boyfriends reaction. This is exactly what he wanted to happen. "Seoul forest,"

The forest extended for what seemed like miles. Long, green, grass covered the large field with all sorts of beautiful trees swaying in the soft breeze. A long lake stretched out in the middle with small rock waterfalls on one side. Ducks inhabited the waters and swam around, quacking as people got closer to try and inspect the creatures. The long path, which started from the entry point, drew out all the way to a small wooden bridge that allowed you to pass over the lake, and even past that, splitting into 3 different pathways.

They made their way out of the bus and Baekhyun immediately felt strong arms wrapping around him. Chanyeol was embracing him with the tightest hug he could and they swayed from side to side.

"I love you so much Baekhyun,"

"I love you more," the smaller said into Chanyeol's shoulder. His fingers digging tightly into his boyfriends back as he attempted to grip tighter.

"No, I love you even more. I don't know what I would do without you,"

They were both grinning like enchanted apes as they held each other. All previous stress and worry was thrown out of the window. All they needed was each other, and it would be ok. Right?

The setting sunlight was hitting the boys at the perfect angle to make their skin glow like angels wings, presenting the world their beautiful, natural, golden brown tan. Baekhyun skipped happily next to Chanyeol as they talked, exchanging their feelings (and even some secrets too). They didn't care when people walked past and stared them down for holding each other's hands. They showed each other as much love as possible.

Chanyeol needed it right now afterall.

"Hey, I don't want to ruin the mood and all, but... I think we need to talk about what happened," Baekhyun said, smile already fading as he formed the sentences that he wanted to say in his head. "What will you do; you can't go back home,"

Chanyeol thought for a while as he looked straight ahead. Mouth curling from side to side and teeth biting the inside of his cheek. "I don't know... I have to go back. He didn't say to leave- so... Maybe I can try talk to him,"

"Chanyeol... What if he does it again? You can come stay at mine until things get better. And I'm sure my mother can try talk to your father,"

"I don't know Baek. I feel like the longer I wait, the worse it will get. I need to talk to him as soon as I can," his head dropped, eyes glazing over with tears. "I'll be fine,"

Haii! I haven't updated in a while hehe. I'm a little shit for having the time to update so I'm sowwyyy. Nothing exciting happened in this chapter lmao.
