New town new life

Gillian was looking out of the window from the backseat of her 27-year-old sister's 1967 Corvette Impala. This car was her and her sisters dream car. They had both liked the car ever since they were young because their grandpa had always taken them to go get ice cream in it. That is until their parents died in a boating accident off the coast of Devon. Sadly around that time, they inherited the car. They felt as if they were losing everyone they cared about. Due to that accident, they ended up having to go to court to see where they would end up. It was just Gillian and her sister but thank goodness her sister, Chelsey, had just become an adult, otherwise, she would have ended up in the system. So when they found out that Gillian could stay with her sister the first thing they did was sell the house and any belonging that wasn't a "necessity" and they left for a different town to start a new beginning.
" We're here. After a 3 day drive, we finally made it" Chelsey said cheerfully but with a hint of tiredness.
Still groggy from just waking up" will you now tell me where you decided to settle down?" Realizing that there were no large buildings or much of any people she concluded it was quite a small town.
"We've made it to J's town Hamshire locates in the good ol' state of Indiana"
"Oh great so we are in the middle of nowhere to get a fresh start. How pleasing" Gillian remarked with a slight attitude but still happy." Is this the new house?"
"Yup but fist do u want to check out your new school?"
"Sure." The two girls headed to Hamshire public schools were they found the rest of the people.
"Hey Sis, there's something I've wanted to talk to you about."
"Yah, what is it?" Chelsey exclaimed full of love and willingness.
"I think I want to join the school cheer team."
"Wow. Why so random all of a sudden?"
"I just thought that because you were a cheerleader and I look up to you, and frankly I would love to start a different sport, could I give it a shot, What ya say?"
"I think that's a great idea."
The girls left the gothic looking church building after someone explained that the building was built as a church but a fire went off so some rich guy came in and bought out the place for an all-girls school and when he couldn't afford it anymore they sold it to become a public school.

Later that night when Gillian was getting settled for bed and her sister said her goodnight, all Gillian could think of was how this new beginning would change her life.
