Falling

"Truth or dare?" Gaten says. No no no no no no no. NO. If I say dare, I might have to kiss somebody. If I say truth, I might have to tell somebody I like them or something. Shit. I'm just gonna wing it. 

"Dare." I tell him. 

"Alrighty. You have too..... allow the person to you're right to do your makeup!'" Gaten finishes. WHAT!? I look to my right to see Noah sitting there. 

"O-Okay." I stammer. 

"You don't have to if you want to." Noah looks at me. 

"It's okay. Just don't screw up." I look at him.

"Can't make any promises." He laughs. 

"Okay, I'll go get some mascara, lipstick, and foundation," Millie says and runs into her room. She comes back to us with the makeup. "Let's go to the bathroom and do this." I nod and follow Millie. I sit down on the toilet. Millie hand Noah the mascara. Everybody pulls out their phones. Oh great. Noah tries opening it.

"Wait how do I open this?" He asks Millie. Millie twists the cap off and hands it to Noah. "Oh." He says. He bends down and gets ready to put it on. "This goes on Y/N eyelashes, right?" He pulls back up. 

"Oh god," I say. Millie nods and laughs.He bends back down again and starts trying to put the mascara on. It goes onto my eyelid.

"Noah!" I say. 

"Sorry! Here, wait." He starts rubbing it with his finger. 

"Ow," I say. "Okay, just. do the lipstick." I tell him. Noah put's down the mascara and grabs the lipstick. He starts putting it on my lips. Then, he accidentally makes it go onto my cheek and then at the tip of my nose somehow. 

"You are the absolute worse at this." I tell him. He stops putting the makeup on. 

"You know, let's just skip the foundation. For the sake of Y/N's face." Sadie laughs. 

"I agree," I say standing up. I look in the mirror. Oh my gosh. "I look like Pennywise." I say. 

"No. He was a little less scary." Noah jokes. I shove him in the arm. 

"This is your fault." I tell him. His face gets red. I look down at my feet. We all stand there in silence for a bit. 

"Here, take this." Sadie hands me some makeup remover. I wipe off the makeup and throw the towelette in the garbage. I use Millie's mascara to re-do my lashes. 

"Okay. Well. That was fun." I say sarcastically. We all make out way back to the couches. 

"You guys wanna watch a scary movie?" Caleb asks. Everybody agrees. We put on the movie, Scary Movie. Millie makes us some popcorn in the back. Gaten turns off the lights. She hands me and Noah one to share. I grab a hand full and start stuffing my mouth with it. Maybe about ten minutes into the movie, Noah and I already finished the bowl of popcorn. I frown as Noah eats the last bit of popcorn. The music in the movie starts to get more intense. I start getting scared, knowing something is going to pop out. As I thought, a murder pops out in the dark. I scream and squeeze Noah's hand. I look down at our hands. Noah does too. Then he looks up at me again. My face becomes a rose gold color. Noah adjusts his hand to fit right into mine. Our finger's interlock. I look back down at our hands. I look back up at Noah, who's staring at me. We just look at each other. We don't say anything. Even though it's dark, I can still see his hazel eyes. 

Noah's Perspective 

God. She's so pretty. Even in the dark, she looks amazing. I can't believe I'm holding her hand right now. And she isn't moving it. I wish I could just stay in this moment forever. Ugh. 

Y/N's Perspective

Noah and I leave our hands like that for the rest of the movie. The movie starts ending and I start to fall asleep. I close my eyes and start drifting off to sleep.

I wake up to the bright sun on my face. I slowly lift my head up. I look down to see I slept on Noah's shoulder! Shoot! I hope nobody saw that! I see that nobody is awake yet. Oh, thank god. I play on my phone and wait until everybody else wakes up. Noah and I don't talk for the rest of the morning. I guess it's just too awkward between us now. But, I think I like him...

Okay, YAY! We're getting to the really good part! Sorry if it seems like I'm going super fast, but I just REALLY want to get to the fun part. Mkay, byyyyeeeeeee
