Candy Hearts

Chapter 1

Taehyung's sweat dripped down his forehead and neck; he had to clear his mind. He had no idea how many reps he'd gone through or how long he'd been benching. He realized it was probably for too long because another man asked him if he was almost finished.

Tae refocused his eyes and looked up to be greeted with a smiling blonde dangling a white towel in front of his face.

"Jimin. How long have you been watching me?" Tae set the bar behind him, sat up, and wiped his brow with the offered towel.

"Long enough to know it's time for us to eat," Jimin said as he urged his friend to his feet. They walked side by side back to the locker room. Taehyung opened his locker, and a note with a purple Sweetheart candy taped to it sat on his gym bag.

"Jimin?" Taehyung held up the note. Jimin uttered a small "hm?" before looking up.

"What's that? A letter from a secret admirer possibly?" Jimin chuckled and took the note into his hands examine it more carefully. "'Kiss Me'? Can I eat it?"

"Eat it?!" Tae snatched it back. "We don't know where it's been!" The note was almost blank other than a small "1" in the corner. "You didn't give this to me?"

Jimin shook his head and leaned up against the locker next to Taehyung's. "It's probably nothing," Tae muttered to himself as he changed his shirt and stuffed the note and candy into his bag.

Taehyung swung his bag over his shoulder and started to leave the gym; Jimin followed behind.

"If I told you that I gave you the note, can I eat the heart?"

"No!"
