Sujeong take a deep breath. She can do this. She can do this.

Sujeong wait for Mingyu to walk into the lab. Usually, Mingyu will be the last one who have his lab partner or doing the experiment alone.

Well, even he's doing it alone, he still manage to pass. And now, Sujeong who their classmates always asking her to be their lab partner will ask Mingyu to be her lab partner.

"Hey you," Sujeong said as she approaches Mingyu who already sitting there.

Some of the students there already steal glance at them. It's the school's precious crystal talking to the invisible nerd.

"Hey you," Sujeong knock the table. Mingyu look at Sujeong. Sujeong shows him her brightest smile.

Mingyu look around. Then he look at her.

"Are you talking to me?" Mingyu asked.

Sujeong mentally slap her forehead.

"Yes. I'm talking to you, Kim Mingyu," Sujeong said.

"You know my name," Mingyu said slowly as he's talking to his self.

"Of course I know. You always get first in every test," Sujeong said. Mingyu scratch his not so itchy head. "Can I sit here?"

"Isn't there's a lot of request to have you as their lab partner," Mingyu said. He didn't look at Sujeong's face.

"But I want to be your partner," Sujeong said.

"If that what you want," Mingyu said.

Then, the science class is started. Sujeong continuously trying to have a conversation with Mingyu.

She shows all aegyo that she have to make him fall for her. But it seems useless.

Mingyu still look cold and emotionless. It make Sujeong feel frustrated. Not long after that, class dismissed.

"I will write your report at give it to you by tomorrow morning," Mingyu said while cleaning up his stuffs.

"What?" Sujeong not really sure what she just listened so she asked him back.

"Didn't you want to be my partner to ask me to write your lab report?" Mingyu asked.

"Why did you think I will do that?" Sujeong asked.

"The other kids did that before you. I knew that already. I don't mind," Mingyu said in cold tone.

"Why are you so cold, Kim Mingyu?" Sujeong asked.

Mingyu stop as he heard that. He look at Sujeong.

"I just want to be friend with you. Not asking you to do my homework," Sujeong said. "This is just a piece of cake for me. I don't need anyone to write it for me,"

Sujeong start to clean up her things. Then she saw Mingyu taking out his phone. Sujeong quickly take his phone.

"Hey!"

Sujeong typed her phone number and save it as 'Kim Mingyu's Crystal(Sujeong)'

"Here. This is my phone number," Sujeong give back his phone to Mingyu. "I will call you later,"
