Earth in hand,
raindrops fall like the sun.
My feet making footprints
in the golden sand that falls behind.
Mind tired, my knees meet dust.
You let me lie
and bleed into the grass for awhile.
Until your bare flower whispered: Move on.
Hand in hand,
We drift like the leaves.
Skin on skin,
marvelling at our symmetry.
Together we watch the night,
as the clear wandering streams move mountains
and the light from a million suns
gently returns to our earth.
Please vote and comment
it means soooo much to me!
