Charlene's POV:

I swung open the door to my walk in closet and looked at the rack of my skating dresses. Which one should I go with? It was just practice, so none of my fanciest ones...Oh! What about my pink one with rhinestones? That would be perfect.

Quickly, I snatched it and nude tights out and slipped them on. Then, I headed to my bathroom, where I curled my sandy blonde hair in my signature, big, cheerleader curls. I thought I was ready to go when I realized I forgot my make-up. I went with sparkly lavender eye shadow, black mascara, black eyeliner, pink blush, and a pink gloss.

"There," I said, satisfied as I snapped my compact mirror shut, "Perfect."

In no apparent hurry, I picked up my white ice skates and sauntered out the door.

Once I reached the rink, on our first floor, I laced up my skates, removed the guards, and stepped onto the ice.

"Now this," I whispered, "is home sweet home."

I clicked the button on my stereo and my playlist began. 'You're Welcome', from 'Moana', was the first song to play. With a smile, I started to skate, building up speed as the song built up intensity. I couldn't resist, midway into the song, I set off into my intricate footwork. Then, with the speed I had given my self, I lifted into my favorite jump, a triple lutz triple toe loop. I landed perfectly. With a proud look on my face, I looked up to see that my friends had just walked in a moment or so before my jump.

"She looses?" Finn asked Willa.

"Last time I checked, she couldn't land that if her life depended on it," Willa responded, just as shocked as the rest of them.

I skated effortlessly to the edge, "Hey, guys! I didn't know you were here yet. But that's okay!"

"Yeah, I got their skates for them," Willa replied.

"We're all laced up!" Amanda grinned.

"Cool," I smiled, "Come on out. You'll love it."

"Okay," Jess said nervously, "But if I break my face it's on your head."

"Don't worry, I'll help you," I took Jess's hand and pulled her onto the ice. She nearly slipped, but I kept a steady hold on her, "Easy does it."

I started to skate backwards and pull her along with me, "There ya go! See, it isn't so hard. You ready to try on your own?"

"You ask me that after taking me away from the wall," Jess joked.

"That's kind of the point," I grinned as I let her go. I flung my arms out and spun in a tight spiral. "Feel the music! Everything you've been holding in, let it go!"
