-Why did I start We Read Too?
There's a lack of diversity on Wattpad, and even in books in general. The purpose of We Read Too is to showcase writers of color and their work featuring people of color.
I say writers of color, because let's face it, white people can't really write us.
I read a book about a black girl, and as soon as I read a part where she went to bed with her afro out, I said "this book was written by a white person".
-How you the reader fit in
We want diversity, and we want it now. So help a sista out and find books with people of color as main characters and comment them in the appropriate chapters.
