Shai's pov

I left Zoë's trailer and went to my own. I wasn't thinking at the time, but I'll have to face Theo again. And again. And again.

Why is everything against me? Did I commit some oh-so-horrible sin in my other life? This is getting ridiculous.

I decide to just bum it out the rest of the day, so I take a long, refreshing, shower and put on sweatpants and t-shirt.

10 minutes of flipping through channels, I finally land on a re-run of 'Castle'. I love this show, don't get me wrong, but Beckett and Castle took way too long to realize they're meant to be together. Ugh.

Half way through the show, there's a knock at my door.

"Yes?" I sneeze right after. Thank you, body.

"Shai I know you're not sick so open up." Theo grunts.

"Nah I'm good. I don't want to get anyone else sick. It's probably a cold and those spread like wildfire." It's actually allergies but I really just don't want to face you.

"Shai, we need to talk." No thank you.

"I was about to take a nap, so maybe another time?" GO AWAY.

"You're hopeless. Fine. I'll come by tomorrow morning seeing as we're taking a week off from filming." He walks off.

Too bad that I'm visiting my family tomorrow.

---------------------------------------------

I slept for about 2 hours after Theo left, and started packing for home. I miss my family, but cooking my own food is fine.

at home

"Hey mom." I hug her.

"Shai honey! We missed you!" She hugs me.

I hug each of my family members and then we started talking about filming. Great.

"So how's the movie coming along? Didn't you and Theo have your kiss?" My mom is too excited.

"Yeah. So? It was a stage kiss. That's all." I shrug.

"No it's not." My dad this time.

"What?" I ask.

"You're lying." He says, prompting me to elaborate.

"Fine." I give in too easily. "Theo and I kissed. He felt nothing. I felt sparks. The end."

"You like him?" My mom says, hesitantly.

"Yeah, I guess. I don't know." I say.

"Well, I think he's an idiot." My dad rolls his eyes.

"What? Why?" I'm confused?

"I knew from the start that you liked him. I also saw a sparkle in his eye when he first met you. The kid likes you, Shai." He says, relaxing.

"Well, luckily, Zoë and Miles are-" I stop myself.

"THEY'RE DATING?" My mom shrieks.

"Uh... no?" Covering up isn't going to work.

"I knew it!" Please. stop. yelling.

"I wasn't supposed to say that. Don't tell anyone!" I sigh.

"Okay. Continue." She calms down.

"Well, I asked Zoë to get Miles to see if Theo felt anything. I'm actually afraid of the answer, because I won't know how to act if we're dating, and it'll be awkward as friends." I sigh even heavier.
