Jeremy POV:
My interview for being a Malmart stockboy was just an hour away, and I was freaking out. "Gah, Michael, I need something nice to wear! I can't just show up in shitty jeans and a hoodie!" He sighed and giggled a bit, making me a little embarrassed. "How about we go shopping for some nice clothes?" He said, smiling at me. I sighed and gripped my arm tight. "But...we don't have much money, a-and I don't want you to waste your money on some stupid clothes for my interview, I don't wanna-" I was cut off my feeling a pair of strong hands grab me by my shoulders. Michael looked me in the eyes with a soft, sympathetic smile. I looked back in his eyes. They looked at me caringly. I blushed a little. "Hey, don't worry about it. You'll do great at your interview and we'll get enough money eventually. Don't worry about me. We all start somewhere, anyways." I sighed in distress and relief at the same time as I wrapped my arms tightly around his torso. I pulled him into a hug as he wrapped his arms around me, comforting me. He pulled away. "Now how about we give shopping?" He said with a smile. I smiled back and nodded my head eagerly. "Well, what are we waiting for?" He said, running out the door. "Race ya!" He shouted to me. "Hey no fair!" I said laughing, chasing after him. He got in the car before me, unsurprisingly. "Ha." He said to me as I got in the car, sticking his tongue out. I smiled and booked his nose, laughing. He flinched and laughed too.*le time skip brought to you by two bros shopping at the mall 0 feet apart cuz they're both gay*
Michael POV:
As we got home, we unpacked everything, sorting them out on the table. And MAYBE we bought some extra stuff. I gave Jeremy his clothes as I took mine, and we both gathered our snacks and each of our new set of headphones. I walked to my room, putting everything away as I took a sip of my slushie. Jeremy got changed into a casual navy blue suit with a dark grey gold striped tie. He looked really handsome... I blushed a little when he walked out to show me. "How do I look?" He asked, spinning around dramatically, giggling. "You look great! You're gonna kill that interview." I said smiling and giving him a thumbs up. He looked at his watch. "Damn, I gotta leave in like 15 minutes." I could tell he was a little nervous. "What time is it?" He glanced at his watch again. "2:30 pm." I was kind of glad that my interview was in two days, but at the same time it was stressful.*le time skip cuz I'm tired and lazy*
Jeremy POV:
I got home, finally. That interview was so boring... And it took WAY longer than I thought it would. I glanced at my watch. 4:30 PM. "Damn.." I muttered to myself. "Jeremy!!" I heard Michael yell as he hugged me. "So how'd it go? Did you get the job?!" He asked me as he pulled away, eagerness in his eyes. I shrugged and half smiled. "It was pretty boring actually. Mostly just basic questions and a background check. I got a little tour and was showed all the rules and stuff. But guess what?" I asked, smiling. He smiled wide. "What?!" I paused for dramatic effect. "I got the job!" I said, smiling widely. He made a little excited scream and hugged me tightly as I hugged back. "So when's you're first day? How much do you get payed? What do you do?" I took off my shoes and walked to my room. "I'm actually gonna give take a shower. We can talk about it during dinner." I said smiled. He pouted a little, wanting to hear about my interview. "Well what do you want for dinner?" He asked. I thought for a moment. "Uhh... can we have toasted ravioli?" He nodded and took it out of the freezer.*another frigging time skip brought to you by my Malmart's very own toasted ravioli, only 5.99 a box! (Lel I'm jk)*
Michael POV:
I set the table and poured some white grape juice into wine glasses to make it like a fancy mini celebration dinner. As soon as I sat down I saw him walk out wearing sweatpants and a tank top. He looked at the table, set with a bowl of toasted ravioli, a plate of breadsticks, and a smaller bowl of sliced strawberries. He smiled and seemed a little surprised. "Wow, this looks amazing! I'm starving!" He plopped down in his seat and we both started eating. "So whens your first day? Also how much do you get payed and what do you do?" I asked, still very curious. "My first day is Thursday, same day as your interview." As soon as he said that I felt a little bit of anxiety in my stomach. "I get payed about 5 dollars an hour, and I work from 9-5. So I'll make..." He thought for a moment, doing the math in his head. "...$40 a day!" He said, surprising himself a bit. I raised my eyebrows a bit. "Dang." I said, also surprised. "Yeah, also basically what I do for 8 hours straight is out food on shelves and restock clothes." He said, a but unamused. I felt a little bad, but at least he'd be payed decently. After dinner, he sat on the couch and we watched some T. V.*smol time skip*
Jeremy POV:
About half an hour later I heard Michael get something out of the freezer. I peeked my head over. I saw a big container set out on the counter as he walked back over to the couch and plopped down next to me. "What's that?" I asked, pointing in the container's direction. He smiled a bit. "It's an ice cream cake, I got it just in case you get the job, which you did." He said with a smile. I smiled right back at him. "Thanks, Mike! But honestly, it's just a job as a stockboy." I said. He stuck his nose out. "Oh shush, it's your first job and it's decently paying, so an ice cream cake is perfect for the occasion." I laughed a bit at his attitude. He smiled at me. 10 minutes later, he dished up both of us a slice and we turned on a movie. A few minutes later, I don't know what made me do this... But I felt like it was time for him to know, no matter how weird he thought I was. "H-hey Michael? C-can I t-tell you something?" I said, stuttering and blushing.Oh yeah bois, it's a cliffhanger. Also, sorry I wasn't posting for a while. If you see the a/n's then you know why, but I feel a lot better now ^-^. Anyways yea I'm tired goodnight my dudes
