''Hey, Matt,'' Dom said with a soft smile on his face. He closed the door after him as he walked into Matt's room. He turned to Matt and a soft giggle escaped from his lips when he saw Matt with is dorky grin on his face. Dom walked closer to the bed, kicked his shoes off and sat down on the edge of the bed. Matt pulled softly at his shirt and Dom laid down next to him with a smile. He wrapped his arms around Matt's thin body and pulled him close. ''How are you?''
''You know,'' Matt smiled and coughed. ''Dying.''
Dom sighed and pressed his lips against the top of Matt's head. ''Don't say that. I don't like it when you say that.''
''Sorry,'' Matt said and pouted. ''But... you know about today, right? I'm going to-''
''Shut up.'' Dom whispered and blinked a few times to get the tears out of his eyes. ''Of course I know what's gonna happen today. But that doesn't mean I want or like to talk about it.''
''I get it,'' Matt said softly and pressed his lips against Dom's cheek for a few seconds. He pulled away again and looked at Dom, smiling. ''I love you, Dom.''
Dom let out a shaky sigh and nodded. ''I know, Matt. I love you too. You are and will always be my life, no matter what.'' He tightened his arms around Matt's body and sobbed.
''Don't cry.'' Matt looked up from Dom's chest and wiped the other man's tears away with one long, bony finger. ''I don't want to see you cry. I want you to be happy. Do you remember the day we met?''
''Of course I remember that day.'' Dom smiled through his tears and stroked Matt's hair.
It was a busy day at Bellamy's and the employees were running around the restaurant. Dom walked to the little table in the corner of the building, next to the window. He placed his jacket over the back of the chair and sat down. Bellamy's was Dom's favourite restaurant. It was fancy and the food was really, really good. He smiled as he looked out of the window and crossed his legs. Tonight was a good night. It was quite warm and the sky was filled with stars, it was beautiful. He looked around him and waved at the owner, and his friend, Paul Bellamy. Paul waved back and disappeared into the kitchen. He knew what Dom wanted for dinner: shrimps on a bed of salad with cold garlic sauce and a beer, and for dinner he wanted vanilla ice cream with warm cherries and whipped cream.
Today had been a terrible day for Dom. His boss had fired him and on his way home he fell in the mud. It ruined his new, crisp white button up! He shook his head and smiled as a waiter made his way to Dom. The man was thin, had black hair and stunning blue eyes. Dom noticed them right away. ''Are you Dominic?'' He shouted and Dom nodded. The man smiled and walked faster. One of his big feet got stuck behind the leg of a chair and the man fell over. The plate flew out of his hands and hit Dom right in the chest. Dom gasped as the pasta started to burn his skin through his shirt and jumped up. The plate hit the ground and fell apart in many, many pieces. The man crawled to Dom, stood up and started rubbing over Dom's chest with a napkin. ''I'm so sorry, sir! This is my first day here, you see, and I've never done anything like this! I'll buy you a new shirt, sir, I promise! I'm so sorry.''
''Woah, woah, calm down.'' Dom giggled and looked at the other man. ''What's your name?''
''Matthew,'' the man said and his cheeks turned red. ''Matthew Bellamy.''
''Are you Paul's brother?'' Dom asked and Matthew nodded, smiling sheepishly. ''Ah! Paul told me so much about you! And could you please stop rubbing over my shirt? That only makes it worse.''
''Oh, oh, yes! Sure! I'm sorry, sir.'' Matthew blushed and put the napkin back in the pocket of his trousers. ''Sorry for ruining your shirt. Please, let me buy you a new one.''
