Dear diary,
Mother went all primal rage on us ,she spanked Tommy to the ground for not washing the floors right, She washed out Mary's mouth out with soap for speaking bad words and she put the burner on me for 5 seconds for not hanging out the washing perfectly. We all were sent to our rooms and went to bed without supper, As I looked out of my window I see all the Illuminating light coming from the city above. Ohhh how I dreamed to be there with a handsome young man,dancing in the beautiful broad ballroom and him swishing me off my feet. But everyone knows that no one in the under city can get up there"only with high grades or a great achievement,then you can go up there." That's what they all say,But I think one day I will be able to achieve the impossible and climb to the top. Now all I think about each night is what punishment will be tomorrow. I guess I should get to sleep
