I immediately answer my phone hoping that it's my Boyfriend's call.
"Hello?" Sabi ko.
"Is this Karyn?" Nalungkot ako. I realize it wasn't him.
"Yes. Who's this?"
"This is Clyde's friend here in New York." Bigla akong nabuhayan ng loob at ako'y napabangon sa kama sa narinig ko.
"WHERE IS HE?! KASAMA MO BA SIYA?! Please tell me!" I said, crying.
"H-He's d-d-ead, Karyn." Para akong binuhusan ng tubig sa narinig ko. He can't be dead!
"What? Please tell me it's a joke! Hahaha! Please, TELL ME IT'S A JOKE!" Hindi ko napigilang humagulgol. Hindi ko kayang mawala siya.
"Im sorry but Im not joking. Its true Karyn, patay na si Clyde. Kasama siya sa namatay sa sumabog na barkong sinasakyan niya. They confirmed it, walang nakaligtas." Pagpapatuloy niya.
"WALA SILANG NAHANAP NA KATAWAN, FOR GOD SAKE! HINDI NILA MASASABI YON HANGGAT WALA SILANG PATUNAY!" Galit na galit kong sabi. Hindi ko matanggap.
"Im sorry Karyn, yun ang sinabe samin. I need to go." Then he hanged up the phone.
