My testimony

I hope you just don't find this too boring I just though it share it with you to show you how God and changed my life completely so here goes.

I was born into a Christian home but I never really liked Jesus or understood Him and I always HATED going to church. Like literally sometimes I would fake being sick so I wouldn't have to go that's how much I hated it and I don't know why.

So when I was 4 my dad died and then when I was about 9 my brother died leaving me an only child (not to mention all the siblings that had died before I was born). The sad thing is that I didn't even mind my brother dying because he always hurt me physically and had never really wanted my mom to have me In the first place.

So I kind of became depressed and wouldn't talk to most people and again I have no idea why. My mom tried to take to to see a couple of therapists but that never helped
I was twelve the first time i tried to kill myself. I remember putting a scissors on my wrist and just as I was about to do it something inside me just stopped me. Like I couldn't do it no matter how hard I tried . Then I tried again and the same thing happened and I eventually just gave up trying but I was still depressed.

Then one day ( I can't go into much detail about this) but someone was trying to kill me and God saved me. He told me He loved me and he saved my life and that's when I finally understood who God was.

Of course I didn't change overnight but I became a completely different person. I started smiling more and being happier because God was so good to me and my depression just left me. I studied the Bible more and I finally understood that Christianity wasn't a religion but a relationship with God. And now I'm 16 and I couldn't be happier
