A/N: This takes place a few months after the last chapter. Like in early December.

McGonagall tapped on the lectern for quiet. "As you know Severus Snape was spotted, a sixth year student saw him in Hogsmeade. New rules are now in place, and are as follows." She paused to take a breath before continuing, "No student is to leave the castle grounds until further notice, this is for your own safety. Under no circumstances is any student allowed to let any other being into the castle. Nobody is to send any form of communication to anybody outside Hogwarts. We will have house elves carrying out patrols of the castle borders and a shield to be put up and can only be broken by those already inside." Several students began muttering about the new rules. "You will all return to your dormitories immediately!"

"Now, we need to raise an army, we few adults cannot defeat all of those death eaters. Any suggestions?" McGonagall was evidently worried for the school. Lupin spoke up, "Minerva, I have a list of people I would like brought here for their safety and the war effort." She sighed, "Remus, what is that list?" "Sirius Black, Arthur Weasly, Molly Weasly, Bill Weasly, Fleur Delacour-" the headmistress cut him off. "So the entire Order of the Phoenix?" She asked impatiently, "Well- I-" he stammered then sighed. "Yes." "Very well. But we need to locate Potter and his two friends, they are out, destroying horcruxes, if they're not finished with this task, it will be disastrous!" "Minnie, Sirius can find him, I promise." Minerva looked at him and saw the young, frightened boy from the Shrieking Shack that she used to sit and watch turn into a wolf, every single full moon. Until he was joined by a dog, a deer and a rat. The rat had betrayed them all, which led to the death of the deer and his wife, orphaning their son. The rat placed the blame on the dog. Minerva knew, that for years, Remus had believed this horrible thing to be true. He now knew the truth about the poor dog, the only friend he had left. His poor heart wouldn't take it if something happened to the dog. "Then go and find him, he'll be safe here, I promise." With that Remus stepped towards the fireplace and flooed out of the castle.

Elizabeth and Tom were sitting outside the common room, they needed some air. When they heard a noise. They silently got up and moved towards where it came from. They saw a tall man, in black robes with long hair (for a man) of the same colour. They turned to each other, eyes wide. SNAPE! Elizabeth moved out of the shadows, without a chance to think and pulled her wand out, pointed it at the man and yelled "EXPELLIARMUS!" His wand flew out of his hand. Tom ran back to the common room to get help. "Why are you here?" Elizabeth questioned, "I wanted to help, I'm a double agent, I'm on the side of Hogwarts." Snape replied. "Why should I believe that, you killed Dumbledore!" Elizabeth wanted to kept him talking, waiting for the help that, hopefully, Tom had gone to get. "I don't know, I did do what you say, but you don't understand, you're just a girl, why would you understand?" Elizabeth got offended, she was more than 'just a girl' "WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA!" She yelled, causing the man to fly into the air. "GET ME DOWN!" "Who's just a girl now?" Tom arrived with all of the seventh year Hufflepuffs. They stopped in their tracks, Elizabeth turned to face them, she stopped concentrating and Snape fell to the ground. Two of the seventh years, ran over and picked him up by his arms. "Come on Lizzie, let's take him to McGonagall."

They knocked on the door of McGonagall's office. "Who is it?" "We found Snape." Replied one of the seventh years. The elderly woman opened the door. "Who found him?" She demanded. "We did." Elizabeth replied, pointing to Tom. "Well, you had better come in and explain" She turned to the seventh years, "thank you. Not that it really matters at this point but, 40 points to Hufflepuff. Now, go get some rest." She led the small children in and put a blindfold on Snape so he didn't see any secrets of the room. "Now, have a seat and exp!ain what happened." Elizabeth began to recount how they had found Snape and she'd disarmed him. She told her about their conversation and how she'd lost it and made him fly. When she had finished McGonagall simply said, "Have a biscuit, Miss Stewart." Elizabeth was shocked, she had basically defeated and captured a deatheater and the only reaction was an offer of a biscuit. She took one all the same and nibbled on it as the headmistress began speaking. "Your actions were reckless and very dangerous, however they have probably stopped an advantage being given to Voldemort and may have saved many lives. Therefore, you will be rewarded. 100 points to Hufflepuff and you will be acknowledged at breakfast tomorrow. Now off to bed." As the two students left she turned to her old friend. "Have a drink." She handed him a goblet of Firewhiskey, it was spiked with truth serum. He took a sip, then downed the goblet. McGonagall removed his blindfold. "Why did you come back Severus?" She asked, "Why did you return, I gave you a chance to escape." "The Dark Lord tasked me with finding out where the Potter boy is. It's been hard, I have to try and make it seem like I'm trying but miss conversations that can be used against the boy. Harry has to defeat him Minerva." The headmistress looked at her friend, "Severus, what are you talking about? What happened the night you killed Albus?" "He always said that one day I'd have to kill him. I had made an unbreakable vow with Narcissa and promised to protect Draco and help him to perform the task given to him by Voldemort." He paused, "Killing Albus!" McGonagall breathed in shock "Yes, I also promised to perform the deed if Draco couldn't. He had a plan Minerva, he always did. I can't tell you that plan, it would endanger Lily's son. Also I know that Firewhiskey was spiked with truth serum so please don't ask." Minerva just stared at her old friend, she saw all the pain he had been through. "You really loved Lily didn't you?" She asked. "Always." He replied simply. "I have an idea but I need you to trust me. I need you to let me remove the memory of this encounter and the one with the students. Do you trust me?" She wouldn't let him become just another victim. Not happening, not after Lily and James. "Yes, I trust you Minerva." She proceeded to removed the memories and put them into vials ad then labeled them. She decided that she had to yell at him to make it believable to the school, and anyone that might try to read his thoughts. "HOW DARE YOU RETURN HERE AFTER WHAT YOU DID! HE TRUSTED YOU, WE ALL TRUSTED YOU!" She a used for breath. "Show me the mark Severus. SHOW IT TO ME!" Snape bore his left forearm! "I chose for me, I chose the side that offered me what I wanted. I wept for the Dark Lord that night. A great wizard defeated by a baby!" "HARRY WILL DO IT AGAIN, JUST YOU WATCH!" She grabbed his arm and dragged him down towards the dungeons. "You will regret returning Severus." She said, it pained her to throw him into that cell. Tears welled in her eyes.

Remus arrived in the fireplace of 12 Grimauld Place. "Padfoot?" He called out. Creacher cracked into the room. "Master Sirius is in his room, he is about to leave, if you wish to catch him." Remus ran up the stairs. "Padfoot?" He called out again. He walked down the hall, heading for his old friend's room. He found Sirius sitting on his bed, back to the door. Remus leaned on the doorframe. "Hey." He said quietly. Sirius's head snapped up, he turned around. "Moony!" He ran over to the other man and embraced him. Remus laughed. He felt his shirt start to get wet. He realised that his friend was crying. "Pads, what's wrong?" "I'm home." He whispered. Remus smiled to himself, he knew how he felt. The two men pulled away, Sirius leaned back in and found himself kissing his oldest friend. To his surprise, he was kissing back. He pulled away and beamed. "Good to see you Moony." He whispered. "Good to see you too Pads." He knew this was the start of something that would rebuild his shattered heart. "Come on, we need to get to Hogwarts, but we need the rest of the Order first.
