It's been almost a year.

Almost a year since Garroth was driving to work and got in that wreck.
I don't know who drove into him; but I will find him and I swear.

The thing is, I never told Garroth that I loved him. Nope. He took his last breath in that hospital down the street, as I bawled helplessly.

"Laurence!"

I snapped out of my mind. I looked outside to see Aphmau, Aaron, and a blonde kid. I stood up and walked over, looking at the kid.

Blonde hair..blue eyes..
He looks like Garroth.

"U-uhh..hi sir!", he replied in a happy tone. "My name is Levin!"

I didn't respond as I was completely lost in my thoughts. Levin has a slight British/Okhasis accent like Garroth. I felt a tear roll down my face.

"Laurence?!, I heard the black haired female call to me. I slowly looked at her. "What's wrong..?"

"Oh..he just..reminded me of Garroth..and I--"

Aphmau interrupted me with a sigh. She told Aaron and Levin to keep going. She gave me a evil glare. Oh god..

"Laurence! Levin was just adopted! Don't get all emotional when you see him!! Garroth is GONE! You aren't ever going to see again, so there is no point in just crying all the time!", she was practically yelling. I completely froze.

She looked me in the eye. "Why do you even care so much..it's almost been a year."

"HOW DO YOU NOT CARE!", I accidentally screamed but I don't care. I can't let her say all this crap about Garroth..especially if he isn't here to hear it. "I LOVED HIM..so much..and I could never tell him..."

"You...l-loved him"

"YES!"

"...oh. Sorry.."

And with that, she ran away. I only sighed. However..I heard something else.

I looked over beside me to see a ghost like figure. I jumped a bit looking at it. It was crying, wiping its tears. It's hair was messy and it's clothes were ripped up.

I heard it mumble. "I didn't know h-he loved me.."

...Garroth...

He slowly looked up at me and walked over. I pretended not to look at him, yet I was failing miserably. He put his arms around me and put his head in my chest. I shivered, since I couldn't feel it. I sighed. Garroth looked up at me. I saw Aaron slowly go over to me

"Hey..your still standing there..you okay.?"

"U-uhh! " , I looked over st Garroth. "Do you see him...", I point at Garroth. He let go of me and his eyes widen.

"See..what?"

"GARROTH!", I screeched and pointed to him.

"...Laurence you are literally going insane..", Aaron shook his head.

"NO! I AM NOT! HE IS RIGHT THERE!"

Aaron slowly began to walk away. He eventually started to run. I looked back at the ghost.

"Y-You see me..?"

"....", I stayed quiet. Maybe k was being crazy..

"No! Laurence! You can see m-me right!?", he ran over, attempting to grab my shoulders and make me look. I looked away.

"YOU JUST SAID YOU COULD SEE ME...PLEASE..DOMT BREAK MY HEART..."

I slowly look at Garroth. I made eye contact with my old best friend. "You're not real..."

"I am! I swear..", he began to cry again.

"...how do you know you are really Garroth...", k said, my voice cracking.

"BECAUSE YOU CAN TRUST ME..I didn't know you loved me..or saw me..this whole time..", he looked down.

"I didn't see you..!"

He ran over and hugged me. I attempted to hug the ghost body as best as I could.

"Laurence...I love you...I love you I love you I love you...", he muttered.

My heart sparked as I looked down at him. I began to smile for the first time in ages.

"I love you too..", my tears began to fall.

"Lucinda are you sure this will work..", Laurence asked the witch.

"I mean..it should. This revival spell has a good chance of being completed. You just have to sacrifice something really important."

"...I'll sacrifice my ability to be a shadow knight..just bring back Garroth...", I looked at the ghost besides me

Lucinda grabbed my hand and started chanting some words of a spell. When she was finished, The house began to shake. Everything became super bright. I fell down to the floor.

"IT WORKED!", I heard Lucinda scream in joy. I opened my eyes quickly to see Garroth, sitting by me on the ground. I smiled and screamed, crawling over and wrapping my arm around his waist. He hugged me back tightly.

We looked at each other in the eye.

Smiled

And kissed for the first time ~together~
