Prologue

A/n: Heyyo there people who read this fanfic!  I'm just here to say (Warn you) that for 2 or 3 first chapters of the story will be pretty dark, but it's not gonna be so dark after Red got adopted by Lusamine i promise!  Well enjoy~

Ow and FoxcatAI there i keep my words i tag you.  Ow and I'm sorry i said this story is gonna be happy on your form while it's dark on a few first chapter but the story WILL be happy after chapter 2 so yeah...  Pls forgive me!!!

Red was running from his friend ,Green, and his brother, Ash. They were playing catch when suddenly Green fall and bumped toward Red, making both of them fall on the ground.

Ash was laughing his ass off at the two.

Red grabbed his head in pain and looked up. Just to saw Green's face right in front of his.

"Aww bummer!  That hurt so much..." Green said as he too touch the back of his head.

They both stand up with the help of Ash.

Red smiled at the two of them. He always like to play with Green and Ash (And sometime Gary). For Red, Green and Ash (And Gary)  was like what his life circled around.

Red smiled playfully before nudging the two.

"Guys, do you know what day is this?" Red said as he smiled shyly to the two.
"Hmm... Saturday?" Ash answer, unsure of what his answer is.

"Uhmm no...?" Red said as he try to give some hints toward the two.

Green and Ash exchanged glance before the two started to talk about another topic.

"Ow gosh i forgot Mom want me to do some things for her!" Ash exclaimed as he walked away from Red and Green. Not forgetting to give Green a wink before he wandered off.

Red tilted his head. 'Why did Ash wink toward Green?'

"Hey Green... You really don't know what day is this?" Red asked again.

"Why are you always asking that?  It's Saturday just like what Ash said." Green said as he evade Red's eyes.

'They forget my birthday?...' Red thought, depressed.

"Well okay then...  I'm gonna go and catch up to Ash now..." Red said as he ran away from Green.

Green sigh at the sight of the running boy.

"Sorry but a surprise is meant to be a surprise Red...  I need to keep it a secret." Green said as he walked toward his Grandfather and his little brother, Gary.

Red was running to the park. He was letting out streams of tears.

Red sat down on one of the tree and cry his eyes out there.

"How could they forget my birthday...  I never forget theirs..." Red thought. It is true that it was his 8th birthday. He'll be the same age as Green this year while Ash and Gary is 6 years old.

Red sat down and cry even more.

Suddenly, a light appear before him. He look up to see a strange levitating tiny pink pokemon.

"Mew?" the pokemon said as it tilted its head.

*Why are you crying?* Suddenly a kid like voice came to Red's head.

"W-What? Who is that?" Red exclaim as he look around, searching for people.

*No dummy!  It's me! The pokemon in front of you! I'm using telepathic to communicate with you.* Mew giggled lightly while fluttering in front of Red.
*So why are you crying?* Mew asked as it flop on top of Red's hat.

"...My friends forget about my birthday... Friends are not supposed to forget about their friends birthday!" Red said as he puffed out his cheek, pouting slightly while Mew let out another giggle.

*Haha well I'll be your friend and i promised that I'll never forget you!* Mew said as it flew back in front of Red.

Mew eyes glowed blue and so did Red's.

"W-What are you doing?" Red asked, scared cause the pokemon could do anything without of Red knowing.

*Don't worry, i just put a tracker kind of thing so that i can know wherever you are and never forget you.* Mew flew around in front of Red while gigling slightly.

*Let's go to my tree! There's a ton of games we can pla-* Suddenly Mew stop and look toward the forest.

"Um...  Mew? What ha-" Suddenly Mew telepathic sound cut through Red's mind.

*Red Run! Run!*

Red feel something at the back of his neck and fell to the ground.

The last thing he noticed was Mew's scared face while he heard its sound on his head.

*I'm Sorry... *

And everything gone black.

Red woke up with his hand tied behind him.

"What... Where am i?" Red look around the room to saw a man wearing all black outfit.

"Kid tell me where Mew is right now!" The man said as he walked closer to Red.

"I-I...  Mew?  W-What would you do with Mew?" Red asked, a bit scared at the man.

"Enslaved it of course. That's what Pokemon is good for." The man answered with a evil smirk.

"E-Enslaved?! N-No!  If that what you want, even if i know where Mew is, I'll never tell you." Red said as he backed away from the man.

The man smiled evilly and let out an Pokemon.

"You know kid, a few years being in an evil organization taught me a few things, and 1 of them is how to torture and break someone. People always told me that physical torture will put the victim through a bad experience but you know what? Mental torture is far worse. It'll planted the seed of trauma and fear and will break your will and emotion like a twig. Let me demonstrate it okay? Gengar go!" The man let out his Gengar from the Pokeball.

The Gengar looked up toward Red and flash a sad face.

"Gengar use Hypnosis and then Nightmare."

Red noticed the Gengar's eyes start glowing and felt drowsy himself. Not long, Red fell asleep.

The Gengar once again flash a sad face and proceed to use nightmare on the boy.

Red himself, stayed asleep, unnoticed of what he will face if he stay so.

Meanwhile in Pallet Town.

Green, Ash, and Gary was waiting in front of Red and Ash house, waiting for the boy but he could not be seen. Ash was holding a cake with a chocolate frosting with letters that read 'happy B-Day Red!'

Delia, Red and Ash mom, could be seen crying inside with Prof Oak comforting her.

"It's all my fault...  I shouldn't have pretended to forgot his birthday..." Green said as he looked toward the street, hoping to see Red walk toward them with his usual smile.

"No...  It's not your fault...  Cuz if it is, it's our fault too...  We're the one who made the plan to act like there's nothing that happened." Ash said, now starting to cry as he remember his brother.

Gary just stay quiet but you could see he was tightening his fist. It is clear he didn't like to see Ash cry but he couldn't do anything about it.

Ash tears continue to fall, even some fall toward the cake.

The words on top of the cake was now a bunch of cream mess with the name 'Red' completely erased from the cake.
