Chapter 3 - Parting ways...

(Adam Pov)

I opened my eyes seeing a dark shadow over Ty I shot up grabbing a pillow and tried hitting the shadow it seemed like it was fading away

I pulled Ty up from where he was, his face were full of panic, he started to cough badly tears running down his cheeks, I embraced him tightly

"I'm so, so sorry!" I apologies this was my fault for closing my eyes.

Ty didn't say anything as we got out of the room. Ty ran to the wall, I turned my head not wanting to see. I could hear him throwing up I turned back to him

seeing Ty staring at the ground at his mess... tears running down his face I put my hand on his shoulder,

I was shocked to see he thrown up some blood... I hugged him "I can carry you if you want?" I tried saying. He looked at me without his sweet smile,

"I bet you would love that wouldn't you? I can't believe how you still have a smile when our friends are gone they could be dead! All we know is we could die!" Ty yelled.

I was smiling for him... I tried speaking but stopped when Ty started yelling again

"I would not be here if you never told me to stay at the school if I didn't go I would be with my Mom and my sister!" he sobbed out.

He was blaming me for this... "T-Ty" I whispered feeling tears in my eyes. "I didn't believe you would blamed me for this!" I sobbed back

Ty looked down not wanting to see my face... "I think it would be better if we part" I whispered looking away...

I walked away from him...

(Adam Pov)

I kept walking down stairs he didn't have to blame me for all this... I looked at the wall seeing paper

*No running*

I looked back hoping Ty would be behind me... nope,

I walked past all the dead corpses "I should say sorry to him" I supposed then I hear it... someone was calling for me

"H-Hello?" I called out walking down the hall...

(Ty Pov)

I have to say sorry to him... I didn't mean to blame him,

I walked down the hall where Adam went down I shivered at how many lifeless bodies that was in the hall...

I walked down the staircase "Adam?" I called out, nothing... I kept walking just wanting to find Adam...

he got to be here somewhere, I saw note next two bodies. I picked one up by a girl her glasses broken, skin pale...

*It was my fault... for blaming him... I just wish I could have stopped it from happening... god it hurts... it hurts...*

I gasped could this be the ghost that we spoke to? I kept walking discovery more notes I gasped in horror at what I saw

it was two dead bodies but one seemed to be missing bits... there was a note by the one of them.

*We were starving and we played a game the winner could eat the loser... I won... I didn't want to... she was my best friend... but when I started I couldn't stop...*

(Ty Pov)

I wanted to be sick but I needed Adam I didn't want this to happen to us...

"Adam, I'm sorry please come out" I sobbed out. I walked upstairs I couldn't believe how many people died here all so young...

I found myself by the boy's toilets...

I walked in hearing a noise inside... "A-Adam you in here?" I asked afraid.

I could hear someone wheezing "Adam?" I asked troubled I opened one of the toilet door I felt my world flashing

"ADAM!" I shrieked he was hanging by rope by the neck his eyes full of panic

"S-So-Sorr—y" he tried talking

I needed to get him up! I went under him pushing him by the wall; I need to get that rope undone! I reached my hands up trying to undo the rope

"d-don't worry Adam I'm going to save you" I whispered tears running down my cheeks

I didn't know how long I was standing there... having Adam on my back my arm aching from reaching up but I did it... the rope untied.

Slowly putting Adam down on the ground I put my head by his heart I sigh happily he was breathing "A-Adam?" I asked scared

"wake up... Why did you try and hang yourself? You were smiling not long ago!" I shouted out...

"This is new..." a voice said I looked by the door seeing a boy "w-who are you?" I asked

he grinned at me "you saved your pal... good job but will you save him next time?" the boy chuckled "oh yah my name is Tyler"
