The Morning After........

I woke up just like any other day but something didn't feel right I couldn't put my finger on it I looked over at the bedside tablet and saw the time it read 12:00pm. Oh my god I slept till noon that's unlike me I rushed out of bed putting some clothes on and went down stairs I could hear talking but I just went in to the kitchen to make a coffee.

After I made my coffee I sat down at the table and read the news paper as I was getting in to a story about some poor old woman getting mugged I hear people coming in as I look up I see  Scarlett and Carl .

Afternoon mum how come your up so late? Scarlett askes

I have no idea I don't really remember much

She comes over and hugs me

Thank you for letting Carl stay last night as it was raining hard last night she says

And that's when it hit me I spat out my coffee as it all come back to me what have I done I slept with my daughters boyfriend last night I must have been siting there for a while as I saw my daughter and her boyfriend just sitting there looking at me and my daughters mouth moving.

MUM, MUM she says

Yes honey

Are you okay you was just sitting there like you seen a ghost she says

Yes honey I'm fine I just remember something that's all silly me

Are you sure mum she asked

Yes I'm fine sweetie

As she was about to say something else my phone went off (RING.RING,RING,RI)

In two weeks time I've got to go was just checking up on things

I looked at Scarlett and said it was dad just checking up on things she looks at me and nods with a smile I smile back I can feel eyes on me I look over to see Carl just looking at me.
