Katie sat in her room, leaning back in her desk chair as she blasted music from her computer. She hummed along to the tune of a Coldplay song that was playing, while occasionally glancing out the window into the empty neighbor's house.
Ever since her best friend, Lance, moved out, the house has stayed empty. People suspect it was haunted, being the reason of the loneliness.
Katie, however, has slept in the house many times before. Mind you, every time was alone. Well, every time after Lance moved out.
She could assure you, the house was definitely NOT haunted.
Her playlist ended, going onto another music video that she definitely did not want to see. She huffed closing the 'Youtube' app.
Katie stood, finally heading to bed. She checked her alarm on her desk, while shutting off her computer.
11:43 PM.
The caramel haired girl huffed, going over to her bed and plopping down on it. She almost immediatly fell asleep.
7:08 AM.
Katie woke up to her alarm going off for the sixth time. She sat up, rubbing her eyes
She reached for her glasses, putting them on and yawning. "What time.." She looked at the alarm, eyes widening.
"Son of a bitch!" She yelled, rushing out of bed and doing her morning stuff.
The brunette rushed out of the bathroom, fully clothed in her school clothes (basically school colors). She rushed to grab her phone, earbuds, and backpack.
The girl ran downstairs, grabbing her bottle of water.
"Bye mom! Bye dad! Love you, mean it!" She said in one breath, running outside and hopping onto her bike.
She peddled as fast as her little legs could, eventually getting to school. Katie stopped the bike, locking it in the bike stand after getting off the bike.
Katie began making her way into the school building. Just as she stepped through the doors, a boy bumped into her..
The caramel girl looked up, seeing a tall, tanned boy.
The boy looked back at the girl, giving her a smirk that practically said, 'Hey baby, won't you look my way..'
