Mugman was walking to the border line, holding a beautiful bouquet of roses, and a huge box of chocolates. He sits down, waiting for the mermaid of his dreams, Ms. Cala Maria. He whistles a tune to himself, until she came up.
"Mugman?"
She said, cautiously. She looks around, up and down.
"Yes?", said Mugman, looking up."Im down here!"
"Oh, hello." She smiles, looking down, as her cheeks filled with royal purple hue. She grabs him, setting him on her hands.
They looked at each other in the eyes, as they blushed.
"So...Cala? Can I ask you something...Important?"
"Sure!"
Mugman, stutters.
"W-Would you like t-to h-h-have a date with m-me?"
Cala Maria, was surprised, yet happy. She smiles brightly.
"Sure."
"Rea-"
Cuphead soon came in.
"MUGMAN! ELDER KETTLE SAID ITS TIME FOR SUPPER! AND HI CALA! MUGMAN WANTS TO MARRY YOU!"
"C-C-CUPHEAD!"
"U-Uh...Mugman?"
Mugman, tears up and ran away.
