Bleeding In

Peeking around the corner,
Dracula? Are you there?
Look what you've done,
I hope you're happy.
I'm bleeding inside.

I laugh it off in front of them
but
I cry at home, alone.
Niagara Falls, down my cheeks.

You tease and poke
as if it's a joke.
But I feel a different way
I would not dare to say.

An ache in my chest.
A voice in my head.
Because of your words,
I'd rather be dead.

This one was a free verse, but had to be about bullying and had to have examples of allusion. The cover is below because I couldn't crop it from the page, unless it was separate. And it's supposed to be from left to right. So there. 😊
