Honestly, Jihoon didn't actually expect Soonyoung to be standing right outside his apartment. Not after being hurt by Jihoon. So when he opened the door to see the other infront of him, he quickly closed the door.

"You're just hallucinating, Jihoon... He's not really there..." Jihoon whispers to himself weakly, ignoring the knocks and calls from Soonyoung.

"Jihoon, please... Open the door..."

"Go away! I'm just hallucinating, you're not really there. Please leave me alone."

"You're not hallucinating! I'm real, I'm Soonyoung! Please, ba— Jihoon... If you're not going to, then I'm just going to open the door with the spare key you gave me," Jihoon mentally cursed himself. He'd forgotten that he gave Soonyoung a spare key to his apartment. Jihoon quickly ran into his room and buried himself under the blankets.

"Jihoon?" Jihoon tried not to burst into tears for the nth time that week. Soonyoung was really here.

"I-If you're here to take your stuff, then take them..." Jihoon managed to say between deep breaths, while Soonyoung found it hard to breathe when he saw Jihoon act like this.

"No, I'm not here to take my stuff."

"Then leave. W-We already broke up, Soonyoung. I-I already told you, to forget about me. Why did you come over?" Jihoon stuttered as he pretended to be strong throughout this situation.

Soonyoung winced at Jihoon's words. He didn't even want Jihoon to break up with him in the first place. And also how could he easily forget someone that gave him so much to remember?

"I won't and never will forget about you. I came over to see you. I missed you so much, Jihoon." That was when Soonyoung broke down. Jihoon slowly removed the blankets to see Soonyoung standing beside his bed looking horrible. He looked like he starved for days, and it was obvious that he cried a lot.

"Soonyoung... Don't cry," It hurts me.

Jihoon wanted to hug Soonyoung at this moment, but he knew he shouldn't. Not when they were unsure of their situation.

"T-Then come back to me. Please," Soonyoung was now kneeling down next to Jihoon's bed, grabbing hold of Jihoon's hand which was holding a fist full of the blanket. Jihoon pulled his hand away from Soonyoung, before moving into a sitting position. He pat the space beside him, gesturing for Soonyoung to sit and stop kneeling.

"I can't, Soonyoung..."

"Why not?"

"I've already told you. You deserve someone better. I'm just someone useless, someone insecure, someone that you should not have loved in the first place."

"But how can you assume that you're useless, and someone I should not have loved? I know you're insecure about us, Jihoon, but even so, I still love you very much. You're the only one for me, Jihoon. Please, believe me. Don't listen to the haters. They're immature and won't think of our happiness." Jihoon was crying along with Soonyoung at this point.

"I'm sorry." Soonyoung hushed him. "Stop apologising. It isn't your fault." Soonyoung looked at Jihoon unsurely, "Can I hug you?"

Before Soonyoung could even say anything else, Jihoon pounced onto him, making Soonyoung lie on his back on the bed while Jihoon cried with his face in Soonyoung's chest. Soonyoung wrapped his arms around Jihoon's waist and hugged Jihoon close to him, afraid that Jihoon might choose to leave him again.
