Songs: drunk by Ed sheeran
Take me to church by hozier
Word count: 1137Casey slowly feel asleep as the bus drove. The warmth of Justin holding his waist, and his deep voice humming Ed sheeran slowly dragging the small boy deeper into the peaceful sleep he desires.
"I wanna be drunk when I wake up
On the right side of the wrong bed
And every excuse I made up
Tell you the truth I hate
What didn't kill me
It never made me stronger at all
Love will scar your make-up lip sticks to me
So now I'll maybe leave back there
I'm sat here wishing I was sober
I know I'll never hold you like I used to" he sang softly "But our house gets cold when you cut the heating
Without you to hold I'll be freezing
Can't rely on my heart to beat it
'Cause you take part of it every evening
Take words out of my mouth just from breathing
Replace with phrases like when you're leaving me" he continued, mindlessly rocking the boy in his arms, Casey wanted to stay awake just to here his voice, but the lack of sleep was taking over as his eyes drifted closed "Should I, should I?
Maybe I'll get drunk again
I'll be drunk again
I'll be drunk again
To feel a little love" Casey's mind drifted in and out listening carefully "On cold days Coldplay's out like the band's the name
I know I can't heal things with a hand shake
You know I can't change as I began saying
You cut me wide open like landscape
Open bottles of beer but never champagne
To applaud you with the sound that my hands make" Casey found it harder and harder to stay awake, his mind was loosing all thoughts as he listened "Should I, should I?
Maybe I'll get drunk again
I'll be drunk again
I'll be drunk again
To feel a little love" Casey was now out, he could not longer hear Justin singing to him. He was listen in hard but no longer heard anything. He was in a state of peace.Madison had walked in to the 'room' shortly after. She found the budding relationship cute, but dangerous. It was no secret that the star was gay. He held important role in fame, and thought it was only fair that his fans knew the real him, not a perfect god of a human.
Madison's problem is exposing the innocence of a boy to the ignorance of the world. She wasn't prepared to let the world break down the pour child.
"Justin, it is extremely important you not let the world know" she whispered, not wanting to wake Casey. "I don't want him to end up like Jacob"
"Stop, don't even start with that" Justin snapped back. Jacob was his brother, when Justin became famous, he received hate. It was normal, but his family didn't take it as well. Someone managed to find the one peace of information that tore his brother to shreds. From a young age he was not comfortable with his body. He didn't feel right, but back then, he was Jessica. When the world found out, he had lost his job, his girlfriend dumped him, their aunt abandoned them, all because of who he used to be. Jacob took his own life, because of the ignorance of one stupid person. And Justin will never forgive them.
"I don't want Casey to end up that broken, I never want this innocent boy to think that is the answer" Maddie stated, she glanced at the boy in her clients arms. This boy was going to change everything, she knew that much.
"I won't let him, I won't loose someone else to that" Justin was on edge by the mention of his brother. His parents told him it wasn't his fault, but still, he blamed himself, for not seeing something was wrong.
"I know Jay" Maddie smiled and patted his shoulder, before sanding and walking back where she came, going to finish some work.
"I won't let anyone hurt you bug" Justin whispered, placing a soft kiss in the boys hair. He then put on his earbuds, hitting shuffle and gently laying down with the boy in his chest. He drifted to sleep with the scent of the teenager in his nose and take me to church playing loudly in his ears.
My lover's got humour
She's the giggle at a funeral
Knows everybody's disapproval
I should've worshipped her sooner
If the heavens ever did speak
She's the last true mouthpiece
Every Sunday's getting more bleak
A fresh poison each week
"We were born sick"
You heard them say it
My church offers no absolutes
She tells me "worship in the bedroom"
The only heaven I'll be sent to
Is when I'm alone with you
I was born sick, but I love it
Command me to be wellAmen, Amen, Amen
Take me to church
I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies
I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife
Offer me that deathless death
Good God, let me give you my life
[x2]If I'm a pagan of the good times
My lover's the sunlight
To keep the goddess on my side
She demands a sacrifice
Drain the whole sea
Get something shiny
Something meaty for the main course
That's a fine looking high horse
What you got in the stable?
We've a lot of starving faithful
That looks tasty
That looks plenty
This is hungry workTake me to church
I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies
I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife
Offer me that deathless death
Good God, let me give you my life
[x2]No masters or kings when the ritual begins
There is no sweeter innocence than our gentle sin
In the madness and soil of that sad earthly scene
Only then I am human
Only then I am cleanAmen, Amen, Amen
Take me to church
I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies
I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife
Offer me that deathless death
Good God, let me give you my life
