Walking down the street
Someone presses pause
A hand comes out of the sky and erases all the color from you
Press play
You are slower, sluggish, and arms crossed
You still keep walking
Someone presses pause
Now the hand drapes a lead cloak around your shoulders
Press play
Your shoulders sag, your knees buckle, you fall
You hit the ground, pause, and get back up
You fall again, this time slower to rise
Someone presses pause
The hand pours a pitcher of water in front of you
Press play
You begin to wade in the water
The lead cloak is weighing you down
You are completely submerged under the surface
Slowly drowning
No one can hear you gasping for air
It's getting dark, your vision fades
You go to sleep
Forever
