jae eun's pov
finding a purpose in this crazy world sometimes gets hard. believe me, i know. you may think, ' you? one of the most popular actresses in the world, is having a hard time finding a purpose when she has everything she wants in a snap of her fingers?'. i have everything except the purpose of loving someone i truly love. yes, i may have dated people before but they weren't really anything serious. just some publicity stunts my manager wanted me to do. i hate having to act normal in front of people when i really just want to break down and cry.
anyways, i'm currently in the sm entertainment building to renew my contract with them. casually just walking through the same doors that have built me to the person i am today, i released the breath i was holding.
smiling, i bow at my seniors and wave hello to my dongsaengs. entering the elevator, i pressed the floor of the office i'm going to. the doors were about to close when a hand slipped in between the doors making me open the elevator doors in a hurry. the brunette entered in a hurry pressing on the button for her floor.
" are you okay?" i asked the brunette who seemed to be in a hurry.

i was running late for my rehearsals, again. never again will i ever wait for eric when he goes grocery shopping.
im sprinting to the elevator to try and not be late. i see it closing. no! i push my hand in between the elevator doors. and hurriedly pressed the button not noticing the figure inside.
" are you okay?" i jump at the voice. i look and see jae eun sunbaenim!
" oh my gosh! i'm so sorry, i must have looked like a fool!" i stutter as i bow in apology.
she laughs as she says, " it's okay. i was like you before and did the exact same thing to minho sunbaenim."
i sheepishly rub my nape as i feel very fidgety in her presence , she must have noticed this as she touches my shoulder.
" it's okay, amber," she says smiling at me. " you don't have to be too formal around me."
i released the breath i was holding.
"are you sure, jae eun sunbaenim?" i asked timidly.
i didn't really wanna come out as rude to her.
"yes, amber. please, it's really weird too hear it for someone who's my age." she says with a bright smile on her face.
"if you say so, jae eun. how are you?" i ask timidly.

jae eun chuckled as she saw how timid amber was. " i'm fine but you don't look like you do."
"do i really?" amber asked rubbing her neck sheepishly trying to look anywhere but jae eun.
" yea." jae eun said as she grabbed amber's chin.
"you should probably tell eric to hurry up when he gets his groceries," the elevator rang signalling that someone was going to get off. "well, here's my stop. see you around, liu." she let go of amber's chin and walked out leaving amber in a flustered state.
