Well it was different.
I hadnt seen my best friend in two days, and here he was.
I wondered how he exactly found out where I was, but I left that question for later.
I stood up, and walked over to him, pulling him in for a hug.
He didnt seem to let go, and neither did I.
It was awkward, especially for the two of us, seeing as we were both straight males not letting go of eachother.
Eventually my mother broke us apart by saying
"Here Mark, take this."
She handed me money.
"Go out and eat something. See the world again."
So I did.
We went to Burgies, my favorite place to eat.
Jack sat across from me, worry filling his eyes.
"What?"
I asked
"Nuthin'"
He responded.
"Im okay"
