Life became well and happy when he called their engagement off, that's what Baekhyun thought.

He may or may not felt lonely after 8 months of being separated to his fiance. ex fiance.

He's contented on what his life is going through right now. He's happy, contented and..

Happy again.

If Baekhyun's already dead and already on Heaven's gate, he'd be thrown to hell for lying even at himself.

It's not happy. He's not happy. He'll never be happy.

If only he had a chance to turn back time to change his decisions, he would.

But not a chance when even rotating a clock's hand is already hard for him.

He's miserable. Still miserable after 8 months of leaving Park Chanyeol with nothing but the ring and his half.

He stared at their 2 years old photo. Where both of them were laying on their bed, with their smiles etched on their faces.

Looking at it, you could tell how happy they were, before.

He may or may not cry every night because of it.

"Baek? Dear, you're crying again," his mom approached him. Yes, it's hard for Baekhyun but his mother's distress everyday because of seeing him like this, is another thing.

"M-Mom, I'm.. sorry," I dont know what to do anymore. His sobs got louder when his mother hugged him. "Baekhyun, son, it's time to let go,"

She cant stand looking at her son so emotionally wrecked when in the first place, it's his fault, for leaving.

"You just need to accept the fact that he already let go of you 8 months ago," a tear fell from his mother's eyes. She doesnt want to see her only son crying every single night just because of a guy, and the same guy at the very least.

The guy who turned Baekhyun's world upside down.

The only guy who caused his downfall.

It's hard to break free, in Baekhyun's opinion.

Yet letting go is another thing.

Park Chanyeol stood up from his bed, unable to sleep. It's a daily routine for him, work-eat-get problems on sleeping.

He cant grasp the fact that Byun Baekhyun left him physically yet stayed inside his head even though 8 months already passed.

He's not as miserable as Baekhyun, no he's not.

4 years of happiness with the said guy, who wouldn't be miserable?

4 years of loving and 8 months of waiting for the door to be opened and the same wanted guy coming in, saying sorry for his mistakes.

But waiting seems to be hopeless.

He went to his apartment's balcony where he remembered Baekhyun sitting on the railings which scared the hell out of him.

Baekhyun again.

He decided to brush off the thought, thinking that Baekhyun may already have another man.

But thinking about Baekhyun, in another man's arms made his heart ache in the most unexplainable way.
