Elio
I frowned at Oliver's lifeless body in front of me.
He was gone Oliver was gone.
Dead.
No longer there. No longer alive." Dad " Olive said standing next to me. " He's gone "
I stared at my daughter. Then stared at the love of my life. My Oliver. My everything.
" He's gone " I whispered trying to convince myself that he was truly gone. That he was truly no more.
" We have to say goodbye " Olive said putting a hand on my shoulder.
" No " I said sobbing again " He can't be gone Olive! I've lost my father, my mother, I can't loose him too !"
" I'm here " Olive said crying too " And I'm not going to leave you "
Olive.
Oliver and her had grown so close through the years.
She must have been feeling so much pain, if not more than I was.
" He was your everything too wasn't he ?" I asked Olive crying.
" He was not in the way he was to you dad but, you're right he was !" Olive said sobbing.
" He was our everything " I said sobbing.
He was.
But then I remembered his ex wife. His children.
They had lost a father too.
" Olive I need you to do something " I whispered wiping her tears away.
" Anything dad " Olive said smiling.
" I want you to go live in America for a year and tell Oliver's ex wife and children about his death " I said frowning.
" Come with me !" Olive said sobbing.
" No " I told Olive " You must go alone. There is a lot of Oliver in you. You might be my daughter but you look more like his "
After a lot of protesting Olive finally agreed.
