“Tasuki! Move out the way!” I shouted and deflected a number of Kunai knives with my twin swords and pushed him behind a tree. “Are you okay?” I asked him as I watched him fall to his knees. “Tasuki, answer me god damn it!” I shock one of his shoulders and he looked up at me.
Pain. Fear. Those two things were so clear in his eyes, it kinda scared me. Tasuki was not one to show his feelings.
“I’m…sorry…” I watch as he fell and became limp. He stopped breathing. I looked down at my best friend refusing to let the tears fall. I would let them fall just after this war.
“Shadow, we need to get out of here. Where’s Tasuki?” I looked up to see Kakashi, my mum and my dad. I looked back down at the dead body of my friend and watched as it burnt to flames. This is how he wanted it, he wanted me to burn his body.
I heard a scream and spin around. Half the forest was on fire and the small village homed to many people was burnt to near ashes. I was going to make people pay for this but I guessed that it would have to wait. Hearing my dad speak brought me out of my thoughts.
“Kakashi , I want you to take Shadow. We’ll hold them off.” I looked at my dad as if he was crazy. “Shadow we will always love you no matter where you are, you got that?” I nodded.
“I love you honey and remember protect the family secrets.” I nodded once again but at my mum.
I can remember Kakashi grabbing my arm and pulling me along. The last time I saw my parents was them being cut in half by an unknown monster but taking the monster down with them.
