Pocket Monsters (Dominic's P.O.V.)

Part 2 Crazy Trainers

"So what should I name you?" Dominic asked the Absol walking along next to him.

"Absol" The absol said happily.

"But that is your name right now and I want you to be unlike other Absols." Dominic replied looking at his new companion. The Absol looked up at Dominic as if asking for a suggestion.

"Hmmmmmmmmmmm... How about... REAPER, that sounds cool doesn't it?" The Absol shook its head indicating it didn't like that name.

"Then how about... SNOWY." The Absol looked up and gave Dominic a look that he knew meant "really?".

"Fine... You must be a girl then if you didn't like the other two so how about something that is like Absol but isn't." The absol looked up in excitement that it was going to get a name that was somewhat familiar.

"How about... Abigail ya there we go! And Aby for short." The Absol looked up and nodded with excitement to the thought of Abigail being its new name.

"Now I need to know what moves you can do. Back on the cliff it looked like you knew how to scratch and bite right?" Aby looked up and nodded.

"Then how are we going to find out what other moves you can do." Dominic said as Aby stopped. Dominic turned around to see what she was up to.

"What is it girl?" Dominic looked in the general direction That Aby was looking and saw just what they needed. There was a path with large trees on both sides that led to a large orange building with a pokeball displayed on the front above the door.

"A Poke-center Perfect." Dominic said enthusiastically. They began to walk toward the poke-center. As they got closer they noticed a man in mostly grey and black clothing. As they got closer Dominic saw that he was wearing grey pants with military looking black boots and a grey shirt with a black vest over top. On the black vest there was the distinct dangerously radioactive symbol people put on nuclear bombs and stuff but his had a large Z through the middle. He had a mask covering his mouth and nose and he was standing just outside the door to the poke-center.

"Hmm, he must want to look cool." Dominic said just quiet enough so that Aby could hear but not the man.

"Absol..." Aby said cautiously.

"I know, but he cant hurt us when we are at a poke-center so don't worry." Dominic said reassuringly. They walked past the man as he gave them a dirty look and they walked into the poke-center. They walked in and a nice young girl in pink with a white apron greeted Dominic and Aby with a smile.

"Hello, how may I help you?" she said with a smile. Dominic looked around to see a nicely painted facility with 4 people looking around and exploring. Dominic walked up to the counter and saw a computer behind the desk and many medical contraptions and stuff.

"Ya um hi umm I need to find out what moves my Absol can do." Dominic explained.

"Yes of course, could you please put your Absol in the pokebal." She said gesturing to Dominic's pocket.

"Of course." Dominic pulled out the pokebal and turned to Aby to see the the scared look on her face.

"Don't worry it's just for a little wile." Dominic opened the pokebal and Aby entered in a flash of light. Dominic gave the nurse the pokebal as she took it and put it onto a machine. The computer popped up a picture of Aby and show a whole bunch of stats around the picture. One of them said female and another one said she was bashful.

"So have you given her a name?" the nurse asked.

"Ya her name is Abigail." The nurse looked down and typed her name into the keyboard. The name appeared above the picture of her.

"Cool." Dominic said as the nurse smiled.

"Yes, very cool. We keep a database of all the pokemon ever registered into the system, as your just was just now." The nurse said smiling.

"So your Abigail knows the moves Slash, Bite, Swords Dance and... wait a minute." The nurse paused.

"What, what is it nurse?" Dominic asked seeming a little worried.

"Your Abigail also knows the move Shadow Force and Absols shouldn't know how to do that move." The nurse replied in a concerned tone.

"But it isnt bad that she knows that right?" Dominic asked.

"Well we never had this happen before but she shouldn't be affected by it." The nurse said reassuringly. She took the pokebal out of the machine and handed it back to Dominic.

"Thank you." Dominic said as he was leaving the poke-center. When he was outside he noticed that the man that was outside earlier was gone.

"Hmmm." Dominic decided to let Aby out of her pokebal. He held out the pokebal and in a flash she was standing in front of him.

"ABSOL!" Aby yelped with happiness. She began to follow him as he kept walking.

"So Aby, the nurse in there said you know the moves Slash, Bite, Swords Dance and Shadow Force even though you are not supposed to know how to do Shadow Force." Dominic said.

"sol..." Aby said in reply. They kept walking until they noticed a figure in the distance. He was walking toward them. As they got closer Dominic noticed he had his pokebal in hand. When they where close enough to see fine details of each other Dominic noticed it was David (A guy from Dominics's school. He was wearing a black shirt with an Asking Alexandria picture on it and ripped black jeans. 

"YO WAS UP DAVID!" Dominic called out to him.

"Yo Dominic lets fight and if i win i get your pokemon ok!" David told Dominic. Dominic looked at him as if he were crazy.

"What are you kidding!? No way!" Dominic replied. Aby looked at him with a mean look. David threw his pokebal and in a flash of light a Poochyena appeared.

"Awwwww its so cute." Dominic said to make David angry. David gave Dominic the look that meant you are going to die.

"LETS GO RIGHT NOW!!!" David yelled at Dominic. Dominic smiled slightly as if David had fallen into his trap. Aby stepped forward ready for battle as the Poochyena got ready to attack even though its like not even half Aby's size.

"POOCHYENA USE TACKLE!" David instructed his Poochyena. Dominic laughed inside a little as the Poochyena jumped and bumped into Aby not even making her flinch.

"PFFFF. Aby just use slash and take him out." Dominic said casually. Aby lifted her claw and slashed at the Poochyena sending him flying back a metre. The Poochyena stood up in pain as David was deciding what to do.

"You know, you should just give up, and save your pokemon from the amount of pain its going through. You know you can't win this." Dominic proclaimed to David.

"NEVER POOCHYENA USE BITE!!!" David was realy pissed off now as he was taking it out on his pokemon. His Poochyena jumped at Aby and bit her leg as she wailed out in pain. 

"HA HA FEEL THE PAIN!" David said. Dominic got slightly pissed off at his attempt to just inflict as much pain on Aby as possible. The Poochyena jumped back as if it were ready to attack again but dominic wasn't going to let that happen.

"Aby use Shadow Force and KICK THIS GUY OUTA HERE." Dominic said as Aby looked at the Poochyena. Aby smiled as she disappeared into thin air.
