Chapter 2: Training Finished and Tournament

Did he just ask if I wanted to learn time-skip?

Anthony "Yes, I do want to learn how to use the Time-Skip."

Hit "Alright now I know that this is going to be difficult for you since you just finished your combat training, but you will need to know the basics of the Time-Skip."

I get to my feet and he explains to me what the Time-Skip is and how he can do it, but Hit has had a 1000 years to perfect the technique and he's still improving so it's kinda difficult to say that he actually perfected it.

Hit "Now get ready Anthony."

I can tell this is going to be a pain in the ass.

Time-skip after a few months

I was able to use the Time-Skip for less than a second and he has actually taught me to extend that period of time that I can use it. After a while, I was able to learn the Invisible Ki blast from him and one day he called me into the living room.

Anthony "Alright so what did you need?"

Hit "A gift from me to you."

I opened the box and I was happy, they were clothes that looked like his, just they fit my size.

Anthony "I love them, thank you Hit, thank you so much."

Hit "I'm glad that you like them. I want you to remember Anthony, don't let anyone try to pull you down, you have been trained with techniques that are able to kill anyone with a single blow."

Anthony "I remember and I will always remember your teachings, but I do have that strange feeling that I'm going to be running into trouble again, and they will be wanting forgiveness from me."

Hit "Well here's how I put it, you can either forgive them for what they did and move on or you don't have to forgive them and tell them to leave you alone and now, you won't be curled up in a ball crying for them to stop."

I looked at him and nodded, then went outside and relaxed as it was my day off.

A few weeks later

I walked up to Hit and told hit that I was wanting to find a place to stay by myself so I didn't become a bother to him and he was okay with it, but before I left he gave me so lien to get started. I went walking and found a cheap apartment paid for it and got me some clothes and some food to survive off of.

One Year Later

I was walking around looking for something to do since I haven't gotten an assassination contract in a while. Then in my face is a flyer for the Mistral Tournament that's coming up in a few days.

Anthony "Hm, seems interesting."

I got to the place where it's being held and I sign up to participate.

The day of the tournament

I was taking out all of my opponents with a few shots to the vital areas and that ended up landing me a spot in the finals.

In the finals.

I walked out to the area where we would be fighting and I saw that I was facing the champion Pyrrha Nikos, so I walk close to her and extend my hand as a show of sportsmanship and said.

Anthony "I wish you the best of luck Ms. Nikos."

Pyrrah "You too."

I then turned around and walked back to where I would start at and I looked back at her and she was a little red in the face, but it quickly went away and the ref comes in and stands in between us and asks.

Referee "Alright fighters ready?"

The both of us nod at his question.

Ref "Begin!!!"

When she charged at me I used the Time-Skip technique to go behind her and hit her in the back of the head she goes stumbling, but doesn't fall so I turned my back to her and she charged at me until I instantly punched her in the stomach she falls down, but gets up and gives a signal of not giving up. I looked at her and smiled.

Anthony "Not many people can take two of my hits to their vitals and still stand on their feet."

Pyrrah "Wow, I don't think that I have ever been hit as hard as what you have hit me."

She took this time to hit me with her shield and get me with her spear. I looked at my wound and saw a bit of blood, I rubbed the wound and it disappeared and The crowd was going crazy for her and some for me so I stopped using time-skip and decided to give them a fight but first I gave Pyrrah a full aura bar. (He knows how to heal others.)

And after that we went back and forth at each other. We went at it until we were tired and we hit each other one more time and we both fell to the ground Pyrrah's bar depleted and I still had a bit left but I was struggling to get up as soon as I got up I heard an eruption of cheers and people screaming my name. I walked over to Pyrrah and pulled her up helping her walk and all of a sudden, we hear.

Announcer "Here is the winner and the new champion, Anthony!"

Crowd *CHEERING*

Anthony "That was a great match Pyrrah you are one tough cookie."

Pyrrah "Thanks Anthony, well new champ congrats. Hey, I know this is weird since we just met and all, but is it ok if we can become friends?"

I chuckled and responded.

Anthony "Yes, I would like to be your friend."

This made her smile and gave me a hug, but as soon as she realized what she did she immediately stopped hugging and blushed.

Pyrrah "I'm sorry for the sudden hug."

Anthony "It's okay, I'm just glad that you're my first friend."

Pyrrah then had a look like she had the best idea ever.

Pyrrah "I'm going to beacon in two years. How about we meet there?

Anthony "I don't know if they'd accept me."

Pyrrha "Once they see what you can do, they will most definitely accept you there."

Anthony "Well in the mean time, here." 

I gave her a piece of paper and it had my scroll number on it.

Anthony "Call me anytime you want to talk. I'll be seeing you some other time friend."

Pyrrah "Same here, friend."

I collected my cash prize and went home and went to bed.
