The Note

~Laura's P.O.V~

I finally finished my work and decided to relax for a bit. I then heard the bell ring. "Alright students! Turn in your papers! Have a good day!" I grabbed my stuff and left the classroom. 'Time for lunch...' I then started making my way towards our spot. I saw Brenya, Kaeya, Shania, Noeloni, and Dominique. "Hey guys..." I said and sat down. "Hey Laura..." They said in unison. I got out my drawing book and started drawing. "Crap... The preppy kids are coming out.." groaned Bren. I rolled my eyes. 'We've been bullied by them numours of times.. I wonder what they're up to now... Joy was one of them... Oh well..' I continued drawing until I felt something cold land on my head. "Huh?" I looked up and saw dark grey clouds rolling in, and little drops of rain falling. "I guess it's starting to sprinkle.. We better get inside..." I got up and put my book in the bag. "Yea... I forgot my jacket in my locker..." Kaeya said as she started shivering. I rolled my eyes and started making my way inside. "Hey Laura~! Where's my drawing~?" I heard Joy ask. I growled, "I don't know.. I didn't do it..." I walked off. 'I really don't have time for people's BS today...' I was shaking. Not in fear. But in anger. "They expect me to do their work? HA! They can thank again..."

~No one's P.O.V~

Laura continued walking down the halls to the entrance. 'Come on bell... Ring already...' she thought as the entrance came into view.

RING!!!

'UGH! Thank God!' Laura thought as she ran out of the building. "Crap! It's raining! Oh well.. I can survive!" Laura thought as she continued her walk back home. "Laura! Put on your jacket! Your going to catch a cold!" Justin yelled at his little sister. "I didn't bring one... I didn't expect it to rain.." Laura said as she went into a convenient store. She looked around and saw Hot Cheetos. She took a bag and paid for it. "So... How do you plan on going back inside without Klarissa noticing you?" Justin asked. Laura growled and ate the chips. "I really don't know... You can probably go into my room, unlock my window, and let me in that way... Or! I can just waltz in and go into my room the way I normally do..." Laura smirked. Justin shook his head, "No.. Option A is the best... Stay here until I come out and check the mail... Then, you gotta run.." Laura nodded her head and stopped. Justin went inside the house as quickly as he can. "Hey! Where's your sister?!" Klare yelled. "She was still at school..." Justin said. "She was supposed to be home 5 minutes ago!!!" Laura quickly made a bolt to her window. 'I already know Klare is distracted by Justin...' she opened her window with ease. 'Crap.. I forgot to lock it.. O well.. I'll remember to lock it tonight..' she thought.

~Laura's P.O.V~

I closed my door quietly and locked it. 'Great.. Now I just gotta make sure she didn't go through anything..' I started going through my drawers and all the spots that can easily be spotted. "Laura.. There's a letter for you.." I heard Justin whisper. I was puzzled. I never get anything in the mail... He slid the envelope under the door and left before anyone got suspicious. I picked up the note and quietly opened it.

Dear Laura,

I know it seems weird getting a letter. For, we know your history. You have been accepted into the Disney DreamWorks Academy. Because, we know your parents very well. If you are interested in coming to the academy, please be ready at 3:35 A.M. tomorrow morning.

I was beyond confused now. I ran through my bag, trying to find my phone. "Ah ha! Found it!" I said. I got on my bed and started Texting my brother.

L: Bro! Did you get a letter from 'Disney DreamWorks Academy' by any chance?

J: yah... Idk about it tho... What should we do?

L: I want to go... I mean, I want to see if this is for real
L: becuz it seems pretty sketchy...

J: your right... But wut if it isn't? Hmm?
J: wut r u going to do then?

L: We better pack and be ready before 3:35...
L: did thad get the same thing?

J: he did.. should I pack for him?

L: plz? I can't do it.. Y'know y anyway so... :/

J: yea.. alright.. get ur stuff ready.. charge ur electronics, set ur alarm.. and we'll be ready...

L: Y'know y I'm doing it rite?

J: yes... Ik y... Ttyl

Oh my Lord.. What is going on? I shook my head and started packing. I grabbed my old backpacks and duffle bags and started packing it with clothes and other necessities. I charged my electronics and put my gaming console in a backpack, along with the games. 'My lord.. I didn't know I had this much stuff...' I groaned and set my alarm to 3:10. Besides, I'm ready in no time... 'Welp.. Here goes nothing...' I thought until I slowly started falling asleep.
