Chapter 4 - The First "Date?"

Chandler's POV

Okay. Wait! What did I just pick out? Ew! That's horrible!

Okay! Okay! That's better.

I had picked some black skinny jeans with a black teeshirt that has a gun on it with the words PROFESSIONAL ZOMBIE KILLER on the back.

I slipped on my shoes.

"Honey? Where are you going?" my mom asked.

"Just to meet someone. A girl."

"Wait! Why?"

"I like her Mom. Kay?"

"Fine then. But be back at a decent time. How about that?"

"That's fine. But I am gonna go now."

With that I walked out the door to meet Maria.

Maria's POV

Why is it so cold out? Why can't it be hot out again.

I quickly picked out some yoga pants and a hoodie.

I wanted to look as ugly as possible, well not too ugly. But ugly enough that Chandler will be gone in no time.

"Come on Maria! Tell me where your going? Are you meeting someone? A boy?" My mom wouldn't leave me alone about it, so I wouldn't tell her.

"If you are meeting a boy I swear Maria. Be careful. Don't end up like what happened with me and your father."

"Mom, stop. I don't want to be reminded about him..." I started tearing up.

"Oh honey! I didn't mean to upset you! No sweetie! Please come back!" she yelled towards me as I ran to the building to meet Chandler.

I finally reached the building after getting lost several times. My breath was gone, and I felt like just flopping onto my bed.

That's when I saw Chandler walk around the corner.

Funny. Nobody seemed to notice.

He caught a glance at me and ran towards me.

"Hey Maria!"

"Hey. Uh. Chandler. Chandlito.. Heh."

Dude I suck at this boy stuff.

"Heh. Yeah... So.. Wanna go to the yogurt place down the block?"

"The new one? I haven't been there yet!"

I was really excited to go there. I hear their yogurt is cold heaven!

"That's great. Firsts for both of us!" he said.

I nodded.

Then Chandler did something I thought no boy would ever do to me.

He held my hand, guiding me to the shop.

"That was amazing!" Chandler said.

"Yeah! I didn't know yogurt could taste so good!" I said.

We both laughed, then Chandler got serious.

"Well um. I got to go. Uh I will see you tomorrow? Same time?" he asked, you could tell he was blushing.

"Yes Chandler. See you Chan." I said waving goodbye.

Just then Chandler came up to me and hugged me and kissed me on the cheek.

"Uh yeah, see you." he said.

I smiled. I couldn't believe that the bit I hated and never wanted to meet, just kissed me and hugged me, and I liked it...
