Years after, the couple is having a lot of problems and fights, plus their was a boy named Adam Cortes who was a new transferee in their university. Adam was a stubborn person and from the day he transferred in the university, he ruined the relationship of Deither and Ysabelle, WHY? First day of Adam in UST(University of Santo Thomas), he notice a beautiful girl walking in the hallway which is Ysabelle with her friends. Adam was so mesmerized of the beauty of Ysabelle and after that he planned to steal Ysabelle from Deither so that Ysabelle will fall inlove with him, his trials to ruin their relationship was a failure so he thought that he would rather kill Deither so that he wouldn't face any hardwork in ruining Deither and Ysabelle's relationship. So one night Deither was walking alone in the streets on his way home, then a group of fraternity beat and tortured Deither and kepps on spanking Deither with a bat until he lost conciousness. After Deither lost conciousness a guy saw him lying on the streets in a very bad condition so he took Deither to the hospital. As Deither woke up he knew that Adam planned to kill him and to steal her Ysabelle away from him. Deither found out that Ysabelle was already inlove with Adam. So Deither ask Ysabelle to choose between him and Adam, and Ysabelle chose the latter which is Adam cause she said that she's already having a hard time in loving Deither. So Deither packed his things and left the university, Ysabelle got hurt also but he chose the guy she thinks she want.

Deither started a new life and went to another unversity, the event that had happened to him left a great impact on him and a lot of hard challenges but nevertheless he still persisted on not giving up, he tried his best to forget what happened between him and Ysabelle.

Years later, he graduated Suma Cumlaude in the University of the Philippines in Architecture, while Ysabelle also graduated as a Suma Cumlaude in Civil Engineering on UST but after what happened Ysabelle realized that she chose the wrong person and broke up with Adam. As faith would have wanted Deither and Ysabelle met once again at the university where they last met. Deither and Ysabelle was so speechless when they're eyes met. Then Deither asked Ysabelle again but this time he asked if she wanted to be his lifetime partner, and Ysabelle said YES. Now, they got married, and they became a successful engineers. Despite the problems that they faced, it seemed that the universe really planned for them to end up together. Mr. And Mrs. Sandoval had a family and they lived happily ever after.
