"So.. Y/N, when we're finally out of this.. 'Hell hole', where are we heading to?" Blaze asked out of the blue.
"Well.. Since you weren't exactly here at the time.. I guess I should say where and why" As I said 'why' I looked back at Gene.
"What, little dragon can't play with the grown men?" Gene said jokingly.
"Haha, but if it weren't for YOU, I wouldn't be away from the only family I have left!" My eyes started to sting, it was my eyes sending nerves to my brain to let me know I'm about to cry.
Woman up, Y/N!
I thought to myself, motivating myself to choke down the tears.
Gene just stared at me with a shocked expression.
I continued walking behind Blaze, "A-And to answer your question.. I want to go back to Phoenix Drop" I replied.
"Phoenix Drop... Hmm... Isn't that where Irene is said to be living?" Blaze questioned.
"Irene lives there?!" I yelled, but immediately covered my mouth.
Hopefully no one heard that...
"Shh!" Gene shushed.
"I-Irene lives in Phoenix Drop?"
"Yeah, you didn't know?" Blaze replied, "But.. I was there and.. I didn't see Irene" I said while rethinking the time I spent at the village.
"Really? Because last I remember you were with her at the Nether" Gene stated.
My eyes widened in shock.
"Katelyn? But, she looks nothing like Ire—" "Not the blue haired one you idiot. The shorty" Gene said as he slapped the back of my head.
"Call me an idiot again and I will mess you up" I threatened.
I put my hand on my chest, that's when it struck me.
My necklace is gone..
"Ein must've taken it.." I mumbled to myself, thinking out loud.
"Taken what?" Blaze turned around.
"My necklace, the one you threw at me in the cell" I explained.
"It's gone?! You threw it?! That power could've- could have.." Gene's voices trailed off trying to find the words as he realized something.
"Said too much, Shadow Knight?" Blaze smirked at him.
"N-No, just.. Uhh.."
"Ugh! Don't mind that! Where did Ein put it?!" I whined.
"Hmm.. Ein is one you can never predict.. But.. I would think that he'd keep it close to him.." Blaze theorized.
"Speaking of the necklace... Where did you even get it from?" Gene asked, I stayed silent for a bit, piecing my words together.
"Hmph, like I'd tell you guys" I snickered at my own comment.
"Tsk, what ever." He mumbled in reply.
"How do you suppose we get it?" Blaze budded into our conversation, "The only way how" Gene had a devious grin placed on his lips. (A/N: His hot Azz lips 😂😂)
"Don't tell me.." Blaze just stared at him, "Have any other ideas?" Gene ased having a cocky (Hehehuhuehue COCKy— I'm mature) tone of voice.
"What? What are you two talking about?"
"We.." Gene started, but he stopped talking and did a slicing motion with his finger by his neck.
(Meaning: kill Ein, yay, let's agree to do that ya???? 😂)
My eyes widened in realization on what he meant.
"How do you even think we could do that?" I asked, "With the power of friendship of course!" Gene said in a mocking tone.
"Listen, we have a freaking Shadow Knight, the Top Dog in this damn castle, and a freaking girl who can transform, believe now?" Gene sounded more motivated.
It's weird..
Can I even trust him? What if he's planning something...? What if he takes the necklace?!
"I guess.." I mumbled in surrender seeing as he was correct.
"But what will happen to the tribe?"
"Isn't it obvious? Blaze can take over as Alpha." Gene exclaimed.
"You're just trying to get rid of me" Blaze glared at him.
"Maybe, maybe not" He grinned in return.
Time to take revenge.
