yoongi hadn't seen much of jimin after sending him to meet the therapist.

what he hoped would make jimin feel better, made himself feel worse.

not only was his best friend being pulled away, yoongi just didn't know why that exactly was.

is jimin feeling tired from all the mental therapy questions? does he have an important family issue going on? was jimin forgetting about him?

whatever it was, yoongi wanted his little baby back, even if it was one sided and even if it meant him being the only one to put in effort to their friendship.

the ringer was heard on the other side, and yoongi waited patiently for jimin to pick up.

"yoongs?" he could hear the familiar squeak of a voice on the other line.

"minie, I miss you. what's gotten you all distant?" yoongi replied, trying not to sound too hurt.

he could hear soft breathing on the other side and rustling in the background.

"I'm so sorry, yoongi. I've been caught up with therapy and some things..."

to yoongi's discontent, he could hear jimin's uneasiness through the phone. he wanted jimin next to him at this moment.

"baby? you're coming over and staying the night. pack your bag, I want to hear everything."

he smiled when he heard a grateful hum from jimin in response.

"oh, and jimin? don't stress before getting here, I'll order ihop pancakes and we can watch any movie you'd like. I love you."

"I love you too, yoongs."

how yoongi wished it was in more than a friendly way, but that was the sorrow of a one sided love.
