Kirishima. The hopeless jock; The stupid sports guy. He was known for being able to kick a ball, not pass his exams. On the outside, Kirishima pretended not to care. Pretended to blow the worries away with a laugh, a joke. But inside? He was terrified. Terrified of his future. After all, although he wouldn't dream of telling anyone, he didn't want to go into the sports business. He wanted to go to collage, then university and then join the army. Because hey, if that didn't work out he'd have degrees to fall back on. Degrees earned by hard work in university. Degrees that would help him get a job; A future that people envied.
But right now, none of that was happening. The boy was bottom of his set, and his set was the bottom of the year. Lowest of the low.
It wasn't like he didn't try; He did. He put all his effort into learning but he simply didn't understand. The words his teachers spoke seemed like a foreign language. No matter how much he tried to concentrate, to learn, he could never do it.
By the end of his first year the school had gave up hope with the boy. He got detention after detention, but they didn't do anything. Didn't help anything. Didn't change anything.
He was still stupid ol' Kirishima.
Bullying was never a problem for the red hair. His ability in sports granted him immediate access into the 'Popular' groups. Even with this he still preferred to hang about on his own. Although, there were a group of people he sometimes hung around with. They were classed as Geeks and Nerds, but Kirishima didn't care. They were cool to him, so he was cool to them.
It was the day of School again, after six full weeks of freedom: The summer holidays. Monday's were always the worst, and it wasn't any different for Kirishima.
It'd taken him almost an hour to make his way out of bed and into the bathroom, so he was slightly late by the time he arrived at school.
As usual, he headed to Morning Form for the daily (and pointless) 15 minutes that the school makes students do every day. A yawn escaped his lips as he climbed the stairs; His Morning Form room was on the top floor, unluckily.
His backpack shifted as his hands moved up the rail to his left. A person shoved passed him, and they seemed to almost stamp their way up the stairs and through the crowds. Kirishima rolled his eyes and continued to try and get to top floor without being caught in a scuffle, which tended to happen on the schools crowded stairs.
Finally, he made his way into Morning Form and took up his usual seat at the back. His form was cool enough; They left him alone for the most part. But today, a boy was talking to their teacher. The boy had explosive blonde hair and-
Kirishima let out a small groan as he realised that it was the boy who'd pushed past him a few minutes ago. Of all people to come to our form, why him?
His thoughts were interrupted by the teacher, who called the Form to attention.
"Alright Students, little announcement here. This is our new Form member, Katsuki Bakugo. He recently transferred to this school, so please, be nice." He shot a glance at a particular group before continuing.
"He's going to be with us till school is over again. Just...do whatever you want. As long as you don't get the principle in here, I don't care." He sighed and sat back down near his desk.
This was going to be a long year.
