Some secrets should stay buried.

I have  never really given too much thought to who my real mother and father are. I never really cared about who they were. may be they were out laws like Bonnie and Clyde or they could be poor people who couldn't afford to keep me when I was born so they made the heart breaking choice to give me up so I could have a better life. Sure  I wanted to know who they were, why they gave me away  when I was little. I am 16 years old now and I have grown out of wanting to know who they are. I live with my friends the Curtis brothers. They are my family now. My life is better then I could ever dream that it could be.  My mother and father who ever they are did the right thing by giving me up when I was a baby. I have friends and they are my family.  I would never dream of hurting them.  I am not even worried about looking for them. I am a big dreamer I have a good feeling that my life is better now that makes me happy. The secret of who My mother and father are. Should stay buried in the past, that is where I am going to leave it. My friend and adopted brother, Sodapop Curtis, told me that we may be poor but we are happier than the people who have a lot of money.  I know that he is right money can't buy happiness, it can't even buy love. We have love and that is something that rich people  wish that they had.
