"Please, I'll get you your money. Just give me a little time." The pathetic man begged, even going as far as getting on his knees. "I have most of it, I just need like a week." I yawned, playing with my knife.
"Look, Jamie. Time's up. You spent the money, I've been keeping tabs on you. I've got eyes everywhere, telling who's doing what. Plus if I gave you a week, you'd up and run. You'll live comfortably for a few days, weeks maybe, but in the end... I always find you." I explained, "and to think... I actually kind of liked you. Too bad I like money more." I grabbed his head and slit his throat before letting his body fall to the ground. I called my employer to tell him the job's done.
"Very good. Now go collect your money, I have someone waiting on the corner of Jackson St. They'll pay you. Give them the address and they'll clean up the mess." I hummed in agreement and left quickly.
~The next morning~
"How'd it go honey?" Mom asked as I walked downstairs.
"He gave the same old 'I have the money, I just need more time' speech. I'm really getting sick of it." She nodded and gave me breakfast, leaving me to eat.
When I got to school, I adjusted my glasses and walked in. I couldn't do my homework last night seeing as that imbecile took so long to find and kill, so I came in early to do some of it. The courtyard was empty so I decided to do it there. After a while, I got bored of homework, so I decided to draw a little bit.
As I did, I felt a new presence in the area. No, two of them. I looked up and around to who was here.
"Who's there?" I asked, frowning.
I could hear whispers on the lines of, "you can do it, Hyung." And whispers of protest, before a boy, a handsome one at that, came out from behind a tree. He looked at me startled before glaring at the tree.
"Um, can I help you?" I asked, kind of confused. He was definitely wearing something very expensive. Gucci? Perhaps? He took a deep breath and acted smooth.
"Yeah, I'm writing an English paper on the finer things in life and I was wondering if I could interview you?" He said,
"Um, excuse me?" I questioned, confused. "I didn't know there was a paper due.... what class are you in?" He gave me a blank look that said, 'are you serious?'
"You know what, don't worry. What are you drawing?" He took my drawing book out of my lap and flipped through the pages.
"HEY! What do you think you're doing?!" I practically scream, trying frantically to get the book back. The back has names I have yet to kill and the ones I have are crossed out in red. He flicks until the page I was on before, the one I was drawing on. I sighed in relief, as he handed my book back.
"Those are really good, Y/N. Maybe you could-" I cut him off.
"How do you know my name? Who are you." I demanded rather than asked, kind of losing my act. He raised an eyebrow.
"How do you not know me? Kim Taehyung. We have every class together. You sit next to me. In every. Single. One."
"Oh, I don't pay much attention to people. They're annoying. So.... yeah. Bye." I get up and leave Taehyung behind, quickly getting to Homeroom.
The rest of the day went by quickly. I only saw Taehyung once, which was a relief. Once I got home I sighed, I wasn't working tonight.
