"But she is always trying to get me in trouble when I've done nothing!" she argues.
"You're not in trouble. You're sister was only telling me that you were not watching your baby brother when I told you to," her mother replies calmly over the phone.
"Argh. . . But I am!"
"Alright, that's all I'm checking on." She could tell that her mother was trying not to get fustrated with her.
"OK."
She hangs up.
