I'm now a sophomore in high school. Me and my sister are very close. Aside from Emma and Sadie, my little sister was my best friend. If it narrowed down between them or my sister , she'd be my immediate choice. Life's been going great these fifteen years.
It was seven-thirty in the morning , I stood outside waiting for the bus to come pick me up for school. Next year , I would be able to drive myself to school, which is a bittersweet feeling. The yellow bus pulled into the driveway of the suburban neighborhood I live in. I waved my mother and sister goodbye and stepped into the bus. After only about twenty minutes , the bus pulled into the school driveway where I see about ten or eleven kids walking into the school. My phone began vibrating violently , not in a usual manner. My phone was blowing up with text messages from different people. First my mom texted me. Then Trinity. Then Emma. Then Sadie. I couldn't even reply, the bus driver was telling us to exit the bus. When I was finally off of the bus , the first text I opened was from Sadie.
"Your moms car is gone ! Answer us!" My moms car ? Gone ? I immediately rushed into the school bathroom to call Sadie. I couldn't have this conversation in front of any of the students.
"Sadie ! What the fuck do you mean my moms car is gone ? How ?" My heart dropped waiting on the answer.
"Listen, Jade, I'm in Mr. Brewer's class right now. I'm gonna tell him I'm having period problems and that I need to go to the bathroom, so we can talk." She whispered.
"Alright. Hurry up, Sadie." I pressed end.
Sadie ran into the bathroom, her volleyball shoes were wet with the bathroom water.
"What do you mean my moms car is missing ?"
"Your mom called my mom asking if she could drive her to work because someone might've stole her car ! And you could be in trouble !" Her fave turned a bright red.
"Me ? How could I get in trouble ?"
"You let Brooke borrow your keys Thursday. Don't you remember? She could have did some stupid shit and memorized something off the brand on the keys and had somebody steal it. For God's sake Abigail is her step sister , and Abigail is the biggest fraud in this school!"
