~ Just a quick author's note ~
The introduction and actual story part of this were posted when I joined Wattpad a while ago. In fact, this was my first public story on this site, which is why I haven't moved it to Carved from Darkness, my short story book.
Please note that all of the following chapters do not represent my current capabilities as a writer. I have definitely grown and improved, but I'm keeping this up as a sort of milestone in my writing journey.
