             past chapter 1

My names Emily. I'm a strange child. When I was just a infaint my parents sold me scientists just so they could make a quick buck. They imeditly started running tests on me. By the end of the tests I was covered in wires, bandaids, tubes, ect. About a month later I started to grow black dragon wings and tail. They were happy to see the tests were working. About 13 years later (I was about 12) they started to train me to fight and kill. I started out with small things like rabbits, birds, and sometimes a cat or dog not often though. When I got better the prey got bigger. Soon I was fighting deer, bears, and wolf's. I had to learn to fly in wind, rain, hail, all sorts of stuff. When I was around 18 I was fucking done. I hated the things I was put through I started to become hostile towards the scientists. One night when everyone was gone except a few guards I decided to escape. First I had to take out the gaurd at the door to me cell. I grabbed his throught cutting it with my claws my other hand over his mouth to keep from and gurgling noises to be heard as he chokes on his own blood. After he died I took his keys and opened the door to my cell. I ran down the hall not knowing were the fuck I was going. Soon gaurds started chasing after me. I was to fast for them though so I got away easily.  When I got outside I didn't hesitate I took flight into the endless night. It was beautiful I've never seen the outside world before only in books. When morning came I put on my jacket to hide my wings and tail. The only thing I knew at the time was this was only the begging.

new beginning chapter 2

I was flying around a city I've never seen before. It was about midnight and the city was showered in city lights. I landed on top of a roof and put on a black hoodie so my wings and tail were hidden. I jumped off the roof (I was on a house) and started walking around the city. It was starting to snow since it was early winter. I pulled out my cell phone and headphones and started listening to offspring the kids aren't alright.  I was walking past a couple of stores when the song there ain't no rest for the wicked by cage the elephant (sorry if it's the wrong band) came on. I started singing along to it when a man walked up to me. I could smell the beer in his breath and knew he was drunk. "Hey there little lady." he slurred.  I looked at him then started walking around only for him to grab my arm. "where do you think your going." he slurred. "*sigh* I really don't fell like dealing with you right now so I suggest you let go of me now or else." I said glaring at him. "Not happening kid." he slurred. "fine have it your way then." I said. I flipped him and that was all I had to do. He got up and ran from me. I laughed he looked funny running when he was drunk. I started walking agian when I looked at my phone to see it's about 1 in the morning. I knew more people were going to be on the street soon. (time skip of about 7-8 hours) I was walking on the sidewalk by the police station when one of the officers stopped me. "Miss how old are you?" he asked. "I'm 18 why?" I said. "Your supposed to be in school not wandering the streets miss." "school?" I asked. Since I grew up in a lab I didn't know what school was. "You know were you go to learn stuff." I gave him a confussed look. "I never went to school before." I said. He gave me an are you serious look. I started walking around him when he stopped me by putting his arm in my path. "Miss I think you should go inside and talk to my boss. I shrugged and went in side with not having anything better to do. "Excuse me sir but we found this girl and she said she's never been to school before would you like to talk to her." "bring her in" he said. I walked in with my hood over my head. "Miss please take a seat I want have a word with you." he said.  I sat down and pulled out my head phones. "Miss what's your name?" he said. "Emily." "what's your last name emily?" he said. "I don't know." I said. "do you have any parents Emily?" he said "My parents left me when I was little they don't give a fuck about me." I growled at him. "I think I'm gonna go now."  I left the office and head outside. I was pissed. I always hated cops for some reason. Their just lucky I just didn't kill them. Now I geuss I have to look out for them.
