Five and a half hours, that is how long I have been sitting on this bus, steering outside, watching the rain drops race down the window. The rain has been pounding so loudly on the bus that I haven’t been able to sleep.

Once I got on the bus, I cried. I bawled. I should be happy that I have left but I just simply couldn't. I left Connor, Alone, with Jack.

Surprisingly I’m not alone on this bus, in the far back corner sits someone dressed in all black, it’s too dark on the bus that I can’t see the persons face which just creeped me the hell out so I decided to pick the seat up near the front.

I started searching through the bag that was left with Sarah. Inside there was exactly what Connor had said there was, money and new I.D.’s. He must have planned this a while ago; it had a picture of me and my real age but a fake name. I guess I will be saying good-bye to Aubrey Johnson and saying hello to Sierra Henderson. How on earth am I meant to remember that?!

It was around 9 am when the bus started to slow down the bus stop, once I got off I was greeted with some ones open arms colliding into me.

“Hello darling, do you remember me?! Your aunty!” she spoke with such enthusiasm that it was making me tired just listening to her.

“Hi.” Just a simple hi is all that she’s getting.

She pulled away from the hug and gave me a small smile, clearly she was expecting me to actually participate in the hug and pour my whole life story to her. Yeah, that’s not going to happen.

“Well, come on Aubrey, I guess we better get going.”

“Yeah, okay. Wait its uhmm… its Si…Sierra” I hope I actually pronounced it right. I have never heard of it before.

“Sierra? What! When did you change it?”

“Just didn't like my old name” Which was an absolute lie, I loved my name, I mean my old one. It was simple yet elegant. But Sierra sounded a bit, I don’t know, kid-ish?

“Okay, so it’s Sierra Johnson?”

“Nope, changed the last name too, Sierra Henderson” Once I said this, her face fell, you could tell she was upset about me changing my last name. But she quickly clouded that emotion, smiled and said “Okay, come on Sierra”

She had insisted for her to take my bags but to be honest, I don’t want her touching anything of mine. So I just picked up my bags “After you”

The car ride to Aunt Jenna’s was too long and quiet for my liking. It was the most awkward car drive I have ever had. She had tried to start conversations but I just gave back the smallest answer to her questions that I could think of.

Once we pulled up to her driveway, I saw the same house that she had been living in for as long as I can remember. It was a white-ish-grey modern style house. Outside the front of the house was a huge lush green lawn with a stone pathway leading up to the two large doors. I guess you could say she lived in a mansion, hell, I would! After all, she did earn a decent amount of money from her business that she runs.

“Gosh, it feels like you haven’t been here in centuries!”

“Yeah, the front still looks the same though”

“It does? Mhmm, when was the last time you were here again? Probably eight years? Is that right?”

“Ahh, yeah, sounds about right.”

“Come on! Let’s get inside so I can show you the inside. You won’t recognize a thing!”

I got out of the car, grabbed my bags and followed Jenna up to the house.
