CHAPTER 3: DREAM

Hi guys I'm back so this is chapter 3 it took me somtime to change some mistakes but if you see some just bear with it cause I'm just a 16 year old boy........everyone makes mistakes😈😈😈

I suddenly woke up in a pitch black place and I can't see anything, everything around me is dark. I thought that maybe this is one of my friends pranks and now my brother is with them

I started to shout across the room "hey guys cmon come out or I'll beat your faces"

but no one answers I tried the second time" hey cmon I'm not joking here!!!!!"

But then again it was silent and as I tried for the third time "hey gu-"......😠😠

I heard a voice telling me to calm down and the darkness around me vanished and there I was standing in the rooftop of our school building.

I looked around from where I was standing everything was destroyed.

There were black smoke everywhere and then I realised that the school building I was in was the only one standing.

It has many cracks and burns on the walls like it has experienced world war III and as I looked back I saw the man I saw back then

When I was walking at the abandoned hallway.........

The man suddenly got nearer to me like it was using some kind of magic to be fast

(Holding my ground)what do you want from me??????

The man smiles at me and extended his hand towards me.

That's so brave of you "hi I'm you" he said.

I was confused of what the caped man had said and did not accepted the mans hand........

What are you saying? What do you mean by "you are me"?

He says:Oh yeah I forgot you didn't know.
I am your other self the one that feeds of from the darkness inside you, I humbly introduce to you (with a bow) I am your shadow or you can call me anything you want.........

What?this must be a joke!

As the figure of the man got  clearer,it was me but was colored gray and his eyes were red.

The smiling man says This is no joke Ryan......after hearing my response and then points his hand at me.

Man: Ryan I've been trying to get your attention but you won't listen but now that you know I exist give me a name!!!

I looked at him while thinking that the only reason the he has been terrorizing me is because he wants to be given a name.....

I was relieved because I thought that my other self would kill me and take over my body but the he only wants something that is a newly born infant wants maybe because he was caged inside of me for a long time.

Shadow???yeah a good name I'll name you shadow ............because your colored gray and can blend into the shadows.

Shadows smile even widened it almost reached his ears because he was finally given a name.

While shadow Celebrates I was busy  thinking how did I get here..........

Maybe I am in a different dimension but I was just in my room!!!!!then I asked shadow interrupting his celebration

Hey shadow! Where am I ? How did I get here?

Shadow:What? You don't know ? This is my world and you got here by ................(thinking)by.......by...........

-What? Cmon

Shadow:yeah! Did you fall asleep ? Cause if you did your dreaming!!!boy

-(talking to myself)I'm in a dream so this is just all a dream....

Shadow:I'll not let you leave let's play a game?

-what but.......

I didn't have any choice but to comply to his request.....just a game....

-okay....🙅🙅

Shadow :okay let's play hide and seek !!!!!

I agreed and the game starts he first hides and I'll go look for him...

The thing I noticed when he was still hiding is that he just disappeared.....

This is unfair I said to myself I had forgotten that he can move through shadows......

It'll take me a while to find him so as he was so excited to play this game I just went for a tour to the streets...

I see that all the places I have been to was there,the road I took while going home, the store I buy my drinks , marks house that seemed to be burnt and finally our house it was the only building that is least damaged the wall were slightly burnt but the door the windows were okay......

As I opened the door I noticed that the whole house was squeaky clean the floors are shining and the sofa were also newly wiped looks like someone has been taking care of this house......

Then shadow appeared in front of me he was rather mad the smile was gone.....
Maybe because I have been touring the whole community than playing and trying to find him.......

Then while looking at his angry face shadow pushed me, I felt like I was falling and yeah I was falling in a dark hole I can see shadow from the hole up top while I'm Falling he said something but I didn't heard what he said.........

Everything went dark again and I was out....

I opened my eyes and saw the Ceiling of my room and realized that all of what had happened was only a dream as shadow from my dream had said .

Then I went to my bathroom and washed my face,goes down stairs to have dinner there I saw my mother and brother preparing the table.

Mom:Oh! Ryan you finally woke up cmon sit here(moving the chair) I was about to wake you up to eat dinner.

Ryan:(sitting on the chair mumbling)yeah right I almost didn't get out from that stupid dream.

Mother:What?

Ryan:nothing

And my brother was just silent while eating. I said to myself to just forget about that dream after all it was just a stupid dream............

After eating I went back to bed.....trying to sleep after experiencing that dream

After hours of thinking I fall asleep the dream did not come back to me that night........
